The Storm Chamber

On today’s episode, we discuss the implications of the newest Cygnar releases through the lists we might put them in going forward. Along with the respectable stand-by of Haley 3 and the newly rechristened Constance Blaize, we take a detour into the sketch back-alleys of Jakes 2-town. We also do a comparison of the options in Flame in the Darkness and Heavy Metal as Morrowan-based themes. Will the light, refreshing flavor of Diet Flame win out, or will we determine that there’s no true competition for the vengeful, full-bodied taste of Flame in the Darkness?

A magical meeting with Polish WTC Cygnar Player and all around stellar guy, Piotr Palacz. We go over his lists, learn some of his games, and tackle some deep Thunderhead tech. On today’s episode, Tim and Nick are joined by the only Warmachine player with Partisan [Sloan]: Anthony Gibbs. We talk about Good Sloan and Bad Sloan, and how the only way to stop one is with the other (or those dumb carapace lists still lurking around in the shadows). We go through a bunch of Sloan games, and make a valiant effort to drag Gibbs back from the dark side. Plus, we get in another round of Jank or Junk!

With Marc off crushing nerds with the latest competitive staple (Precursor Knights, of course), the three musketeers stay behind to reminisce about the past … and make wild guesses about the future! We discuss Siege 1, Stryker 2, dabble briefly with Constance Blaize and reference (but never really delve into) Haley 2. We even do Jank or Junk, like we promised. How about that!
