Denise is 1 year sober as of May 15th. I have known Denise Nail for less than a year, but I knew she had a story. I’m honored to be the platform upon which she shares her journey.

I describe Avery Anderson as the person most likely to go from committee volunteer to committee president in the shortest amount of time. Avery is  a PHD student at The Ohio State University and works in nursing research at Nationwide Hospital. As a transgender man, Avery has a very powerful life story as well as a valuable perspective that we can all learn from.
