We are just a little more than two weeks away from Penn State's matchup with the Washington Huskies in the Fiesta Bowl and more news has come down that the Nittany Lions could possibly be losing another one of its key coaches.  Reports surfaced mid-week that Defensive Coordinator Brent Pry was the leading candidate for the University of Louisiana-Lafayette job, a place Pry coached at for 4 years in the early 2000's.  Law reacts to the possibility of Penn State having to replace another top assistant and how the college football coaching carousel is something new to PSU fans after decades of stability amongst the coaching ranks in Happy Valley.  Law also spotlights the Washington Huskies and some of the things fans should know about our Fiesta Bowl opponent on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, as well as special teams .  The ST814'cast wraps up with a discussion about former Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg with New York Daily News Jets beat reporter Manish Mehta. With Jets starting quarterback Josh McCown being placed on season ending IR, it looks like Hackenberg could see his number called sooner rather than later for gang green.  Mehta adds his insight into the Jets QB situation and elaborates further on a recent sit-down he had with the former Nittany Lion signal caller about what made him so successful under Bill O'Brien. It's official, the Penn State Nittany Lions will be playing against the Washington Huskies in the Fiesta Bowl on December 30th.  After a brief hiatus Chris Law is back with a new podcast discussing all things Penn State Football.  A lot has transpired since the latest episode of the ST814'cast, including the departure of two key components of PSU's offensive success in OC Joe Moorehead and RB coach Charles Huff.  Moorehead accepted the gig to become Miss State's head coach and Huff will follow him to be a coordinator for the Bulldogs in Starkville.  That means a shake up on the PSU staff and on this edition of the ST814'cast you'll hear from head coach James Franklin about the decision to promote former Tight Ends and QB coach Ricky Rahne to Offensive Coordinator.  Also discussed is the College Football Playoff selection and the committee's decision for a second year in a row to leave the B1G champion out of the Playoff.  Plenty more to tackle on the next few editions of the podcast as well while we prep for the big bowl game in Glendale...and with hoops season getting underway we'll also be talking some Men's basketball too.
