This voicecast from April is held together by a passion I have for artists. The thought of art as worshipping God, his word and spirit through a vessel uniquely created to both do so and share...sends me to prayer and to the edge of my seat in anticipation. More than being in the zone, perhaps, I’m tapping a request to the Father for His holy seed to be beheld through the artists He has given us. The reminder of my long-standing prayer, and this voicecast’s five to six pieces coming together to highlight the deep hope in me for the various souls who create, came from my viewing a young man on stage whose sheer talent shifted the atmosphere. His gifting held such voice that I then ached to see that at the center of his motivation was Jesus. Ached. And for just this time, imagine all the stunning gifts of talent, bestowed upon souls worldwide, nourished and infused continuously with Jesus the Christ, in all his creativity/diversity and purpose, ability and care, integrity and power, knowledge, humor, significant brilliance and reach. wonder on wonder, Lord. hearts on minds on wombs on wills met in wefts and weaves of the most ordinary and extraordinary living.

The knowledge that you belong to the Lord, that you are God’s own, removes heavy burdens and allows you to go to him for closing the distance between who you are and what you do, say, think, feel, want, seek and otherwise believe.

This is a quick praise to the Lord for speaking to creation.
