Roll The Dice, with Aaron Crawford
In this brief episode, Aaron shares his thoughts on one of his favorite poems by Charles Bukowski, "Roll The Dice".  The work can be found in the book, What Matters Most is How Well You Walk Through The Fire.  You can purchase the work here: https://www.amazon.com/What-Matters-Most-Well-Through/dp/1574231057 Intro music: "Fighter" by Rude Buddha  Album art: Raul Rene Gonzalez @werkin_artistraulgonzalez  About the Host: Aaron Crawford is a marketing professional, entrepreneur, musician, and philanthropist currently heading up marketing and business development for Mark Willis Leadership (@officialmarkwillis) and the Willis Property Group. He also sits on the board of the Limitless Youth Foundation and is a consultant for BrainJuice and the Willis Family Foundation. Prior to his professional career in marketing, Aaron fronted the national rock bands Rude Buddha and Aaron Crawford & The BadCards. In 2005 his song “Miss California” from the album Fighter by Rude Buddha, was briefly put into regular rotation on select Clear Channel (now iHeartRadio) radio stations across the United States. While the single was a huge hit in the Washington D.C. area on radio stations like DC101, the album did not make the Billboard charts. However, the band spent two years touring on the album and became an underground success. That success included signing a record deal with the US/Japanese label, Surfrock International, and getting music placements on nationally televised programs. After multiple albums and tours with Rude Buddha from 2003 - 2009, Aaron founded Aaron Crawford & The Badcards and started his solo career through a residency at the Viper Room in Los Angeles. He went on to record two more albums which included working with Grammy winning producer Sean Everett (Alabama Shakes, Julian Casablancas, Kacey Musgraves), and spent 3 more years touring. While not seeing the commercial and underground success that Rude Buddha saw, music from these albums has been featured on NFL Sunday Night Football, Monster Energy’s Nascar Cup series, MTV’s Warsaw Shore Summer Camp, and in the Fox Sports documentary, “Truth be Told: Rick Ankiel.” As a marketing executive, Aaron has developed and managed consumer-facing campaigns for CarSaver at Walmart, Hyundai, The Wounded Walk, Sean Wolfington, Mully Childrens Family, Inspiring Children Foundation, Robert Hand, Singer/Songwriter Jewel, and has worked with notable brands like Victorinox Swiss Army, Cliff Bar, The Boston Beer Company, Black Rifle Coffee Company, Hoka One One and more. Aaron resides in Austin, Texas with his wife, beauty influencer and Creative Director, Heather Pesich (@hauteoffthebrush), and his two children Ayden and Ava. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/thespacebetweenthoughts/support
