Many of us give too much value and meaning to special dates in our relationships that have become a part of the generic annual celebrations created by the Capitalistic marketplace. The corporations have monopolized on people's needs of reassurance and relationship status by forcing people to recognize special dates like Valentines, anniversaries and other seasonal celebrations as a way to show commitment, love and desire for someone. A great, passionate relationship doesn't require specific dates to show each other how much they appreciate one another. Avoid such pitfalls that make your relationships be compared to others, to avoid keeping up pretenses and habitual acts that actually give no real value and expression of how someone really feels. Break away from chains of expectations and conformity of what society expects and create unique memories each day, not on just special occasions. Don't judge your man or woman by a few dates in a year.
