This episode is a celebration of Solange, and her creativity. It is an admiration of her ability to express herself in spaces that aren’t usually receptive to black artists. It is about taking cues from as a black woman on how to occupy space and finding comfort in the fact that we can’t be singular expressions of ourselves!!!!!

This is an intro to who and what I am but more so and intro to my thoughts and what I hope to get out of this intro. This episode uses Beyoncé’s film Homecoming as a point of entry into a discussion about black culture, self expression and the social dynamics of architecture. Enjoy!
