In this episode, Coach Trey Smith interviews former student Erin Bush about her experiences in Speech and Debate and how it influenced her decision to study international affairs in college.  Erin discusses her experience of coming back from back-to-back losses to win six matches in a row.   

In today's interview, we hear from current Standford University student Gina Sanchez.  Gina is former speech and debate competitor, during which time she was a three-time New Mexico State Champion in Congressional debate as well as a two-time top finisher for Public Policy Debate.   Gina tells us about her favorite event, International Extemporaneous Speaking, in which participants are "forced to solve the worlds problems by answering questions about (for example) ISIS or Myanmar refugees."  Gina credits her current interest in international relations to her experience in Speech and Debate during high school.  

In this episode, we hear from New Mexico Speech and Debate State Champion Tiffany Delgado. 

This episode is an interview with National Student of the Year Quinlan Cao.  Quinlan is an alumnus of Speech and Debate, having held such titles as National Finalist in Extemporaneous Commentary, Triple state champion in original oratory, International Extemporaneous Speaking and Public Forum Debate.  In this episode, Quinlan discusses the impact that Speech and Debate had on his life and career.
