This is foundational truth that can anchor, guard, and guide you as you live it and share it because Genesis 1:26-27 is every person’s unchangeable identity.

Whatever circumstances and relationships you're in today, know that our Judge and Hope is on the way! He can give you strength and endurance. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness. He will reveal the intentions of hearts. 

Here's a story about a day our family just missed disaster and learned about what it means to follow.

Tough love isn’t that tough for me. Sometimes I wish it were. Sometimes my kids and probably a few of my friends wish it were. But in the words of one of my mentors, “I love you too much to let you act that way.” 

This is so that the living will know that the Most High is ruler over human kingdoms.

It's difficult to capture the combination of reverence, horror, and awe of John’s account of Christ’s crucifixion. Imagine the scene. Jesus’ lifeless, beaten, disfigured body hanging on the cross. Soldiers all around. John standing nearby with Mary, Jesus’ mother, her sister, Mary, Clopas’ wife, and Mary Magdalene—each with their own specific grief. I’m not sure what hits me the hardest. Imagining myself there at that moment or the truth that, as the songwriter explains, “it was my sin that held Him there”. 

A battle cry for purpose and perseverance from me to you.

Consider this with me: If I lived each day with the reality of these verses at the forefront of my mind, how would my life be different?
