Not an incubator?
Grow up. It’s not the child’s fault that a woman doesn’t use birth control, birth control and condoms, refrains completely, etc. Take responsibility for your actions. As a mother…not religious, not alt right…I find it super troublesome that you have a podcast about mothering, but are ok with women killing babies inside them, simply because they don’t want it. I hope you don’t have the same disdain for your own children. Smh.

Able to relate on many levels.
When you said a different kind of tired I heard you. As a solo parent of 2 boys and one with special needs, it was a struggle after my husband passed last year. Truly a blessing to found this podcast.

Too Personalized & not for all Single Moms
This is her podcast and she can talk about whatever she wants but titling it “The” Single Moms Podcast as if it is a place that all single moms can turn too is not what I felt. I am an open minded person and give everyone a fair shot. I listened to 3 full episodes and realized how specific and personalized it is. People handle situations differently so it felt like a vent session more than acknowledging that there are many single moms from all over with various backgrounds and situations that could be listening. I feel that having a platform creates a level of of responsibility to be well informed and recognize all of your audience members. This is just my opinion and I know there is someone out there with your same situation that may relate well to this. My feedback is simply that I think it would be better with perhaps guests speakers to get a different perspective and to talk about things that maybe aren’t even your situation and be more empathetic to it. I’m sure you will continue to grow personally as your channel does too.

Still on the fence
I just started listening to this podcast and I’m still not quite sure how I feel about this. I’m listening to the episode called Forgive Yourself? Truth be told, I was into the podcast until I heard this episode and this episode was an all out assault on how some women feel that we have not been able to forgive ourselves for being a single parent. When several women say that they still haven’t forgiven themselves for being a single parent doesn’t mean that they need a man in their life or that their wanting to jump into a relationship with Joe Shmoe to give kids the male figure in their lives. I didn’t think it was fair for her to generalize this assumption that we all have a void in our lives. I felt attacked. In my own situation, I’m not looking for a man to fill the void but I’ve had the issue of feeling like I need to forgive myself but because I want to give my child everything I can working two jobs but missing out on her life because I’m working and trying to keep us afloat.

An eye opener
I am a 24 year old single mother to an 8 month old boy, since he was about 1 1/2 months old because my sons father was showing aggression towards him and physically abusive to me.. I just discovered your podcast last night, even though I’m on episode 2, it really spoke to me. I’ve been such a negative nancy lately thinking my life will never get better and that I’ll always be stuck in this rut and struggle, especially financially. But you’re so right, there are people out there that have it far worse than I do. I will continue to listen to your podcast because even though I’m only 2 episodes in I absolutely love it because finally I can listen to something that I can relate to. Thank you for inspiring other single mothers out there to be the best them. You are so awesome for that!

Thank you so much!
I’ve been a single mother of 2 for 10 years and I’m so isolated and exhausted. I’ve tried to find resources and there seems to be nothing out there. Your podcast is so honest and sincere, thank you so much.
