The Simian Show
The Simian Show
Simon
"Simian - relating to, resembling, or affecting apes or monkeys (Google/ Oxford Languages)." I believe that we are just really logically intelligent apes. I mean, we've got the arms, the legs, the head with the brain and hair. We are basically the same as Neanderthals, just better at drawing logical conclusions through trial and error and putting them into practice than they were. Plus we look better. I want to share my thoughts as an Earth ape during these strange and difficult times in the hopes that you might relate to, or draw advice from them, whoever you may be. Instagram: @scromly
Social Media Creates Soul Destroying Comfort Havens for Young People
Why is social media harmful, especially to young men? How can memes act as portholes into the unspoken fears, hatred, and sadness in young men? What is the answer to the issue of social media and the haven of comfort that it provides which destroys peoples drives to participate in the world, to face it head on, and to challenge it?

To Young Men
The world seems to be growing darker and more challenging and toxic by the day. Men are being attacked for the soul act of being what Man is because it's been deemed toxic by random people all over the internet. Why is this happening? What can men today do about this growing hatred they feel from the world towards them? How can we fight for a better world, and for better lives for ourselves, and why should we do so?

Ayn Rand's "We the Living" Thoughts (Objectivism and the Importance of individualism)
Ayn Rand is an author and writer whose works include "The Fountainhead," "Atlas Shrugged," "Anthem," "We the Living," and more. Her philosophy that is described in these fictional reads (although "We the Living" takes plenty of inspiration from her real life experiences of living in the Soviet Union,) is named "Objectivism." In short, it is the argument that individualism is needed for man to be truly happy, and that one can prove this by looking at mankind, and life from the most objective lense possible. I just finished reading "We the Living," and these are my thoughts on it right after I finished the book. In short, individualism is freedom, true freedom, and collectivist groups of people lose sight of their individualism and view all that live as themselves as an enemy that needs to be crushed. But why must that be the case? Why must individuals that live AS themselves, as they were born to be have their freedom stripped away because it makes collectivists feel uncomfortable, and scared, and threatened? How do we slow our (America's) slow descent into collectivism, and bring back true freedom for the individual before the individual, and as a consequence, freedom, is crushed under the boot of misguided empathy?

Andrew Tate's BBC Interview, and It's Lessons on Yellow Journalism (Just Think for Yourself)
Andrew Tate's most recent BBC interview, and its lesson in yellow journalism---its exaggerated and divisive qualities. Yellow journalism is driven by people that believe themselves to be the arbiters of truth, of goodness. They believe that it is okay for them to emotionally fire up individuals, and to gather them into groups because their goals are superior to the goals or emotions or beliefs of others, but who gave them that status? Could they be wrong in their assumptions? Why do groups of people lack the ability to think objectively and rationally? Why is objective thought restricted only to those that think through the lense of individuality? Why is skepticism incredibly important, as well as essential to objective and rational thought? We must carry the sins and failures of those before us on our shoulders, relax, and stop bickering with each other to create a better world. Just CHILL.

Something Is Missing from Gen-z (Globalization Induced Comfort Has Made Us Lose Ourselves)
Ever since the end of World War ll and the start of globalization, humanity has been on an uphill trend in terms of quality of life and freedom for the individual. This has made it so Gen-z has lived through immense comfort and safety; with access to food, water, shelter, and practically limitless sources of pleasure being almost guaranteed, but what was the cost of this? How can we save the good aspects of society and ourselves without focusing on tearing everything apart? Are we really as screwed up and helpless as most media tells us we are, or is accountability always available to us to give us the power and drive to pull ourselves out of darkness? I hope you were able to get something from watching this, even if it's just a new perspective---another tool in your arsenal of self to challenge life head on. I will continue to post videos whenever I have something of, from what I perceive to be valuable, to share. I wish you the best of luck in your attempt to integrate with yourself and the world, you've got one shot, don't waste it by being something that you're not.

Jurassic Park and it's Lessons on Humanity and Science
What does the first Jurassic Park book teach us about human nature, science and its responsibilities or lack thereof, and Chaos Theory? How is artificial intelligence foreshadowed in the book, and why don't people learn their lessons about the dangers of scientific and commercial development with a lack of discipline and planning?
