Shaheen Chishti, author and international activist talks to Misbah about challenges faced as a young woman growing up. Misbah discusses how she faced the challenges as a young girl but made her way up with support from her own family. According to her, her family also is evolving through the gender narrative but more families need to widen their world-view. She found her own identity as a proud Muslim, studied her scriptures and in a way found her own interpretation of culture and identity.
