SFPD Chief William Scott discusses reform and the department's progress in the Collaborative Reform Initiative, which was undertaken in October, 2016.As of June 2nd 2020, 61 CRI recommendations (22%) have been determined to meet compliance measures established by the California Department of Justice.  An additional 50 recommendations (18%) were submitted to CAL DOJ but were returned for additional information.  Two recommendations (1%) were submitted and are under external review. The remaining 159 recommendations (59%) are being actively worked on by SFPD members who were assigned CRI recommendations in addition to their regular duties.Learn more at SanFranciscoPolice.org/cri.
