Take a look into the mind of a recovering alcoholic, registered male nurse, who is learning to manage and balance life with a wife and kids and anxiety. I’m 40 and still growing up & that’s alright with me.
Happy belated Mothers day. You ladies ROCK!!!
Just want to say thanks to the women who have aided me in my maturation. Kept me afloat when I was figuring this thing called life out.

Mock Draft for my beloved Detroit Lions.
I got my mock draft, I don’t want to talk about nothing else until Sunday morning. This is my mock draft, for my Detroit Lions.   Mock Draft  2nd Aiden Hutchinson 6’6 260 over Kayvon Thibodeaux 6’5 258   32nd pick WR Christian Watson North Dakota state 6’4 206 4.36 OVER WR TREYLON BURKS ARKANSAS 6’2 225 big hands (baby Deebo or A.J. Brown but 4.55, but on tape he doesn’t get caught from behind) buuuuut the NFL are using this big receivers in a lot of different was so basically I’m torn and wouldn’t mind either    34th pick LB Brian Asamoah Oklahoma 6’ 225 that safety LB tweener  (love he plays so wreckless, like a Lou Delmas over S Lewis Cine Georgia comes from the big school, he’s a hitter. But we ain’t Georgia and he’s 6’2 and 195 Asamoah got more size to tackle   66th pick WR George Pickens (torn acl can slip likely won’t) edge Michigan David Ojabo 86.9 pass rush ( torn Achilles, likely won’t be there either) but Darian Kinnard Kentucky 6’5 324lb (played tackle but is a guard in the NFL) need Big V’s replacement.      97th WR Khalil Shakir Boise state highlight film or Calvin Austin 5-8 170 tested well at the combine best receiver at the senior bowl   177 Tariq Woolen CB UTSA (6’5 converted receiver) I’m intrigued 4.26 Gooooood damn! 42 inch vert    181 Jelani Woods TE Virginia 6’7 275 4.61      217 D’Eriq King QB Miami 5’9 he’ll be a 25 year old rookie. was a WR but he can be gadgetty and used like Taysom Hill

R.I.P. Wahday
A little before the pandemic began, I was watching Lebron James and learned he invests upward a million dollars a year on his body. So on that day I decided to invest a few thousand on my health. So I tried CrossFit for a year at a place called Blue Titan close to my house. I needed the community but unfortunately early in the game, COVID-19 changed the world. The gyms were closed and no more group classes. The check ins and accountability stayed in place, just remote. Lost close to 50lbs by the end of the 6 months. After that I began to lose focus and the next year invested in an online nutrition and body building coach. The program changed my physique and eating habits. The gentleman was named Wahday, he was very no nonsense but I respond to that well. He helped me so much, I got down to about 215lbs. The new year started, 2022 and I began to become undisciplined again so I signed back up to Wahday’s program about 2 months ago. Well, I’ve noticed he hadn’t been responding lately and received the unfortunate news that he had passed away. I’ve never met him in person, but this man changed my life. This video is dedicated to a man I’ve never met, but have learned so much from. RIP Wahday.    The song of the day is called “Girl Bye” by the incomparable GeezFromBrickz

Bro, if I was her I would have cheated on you too.
People lose themselves in relationships all the time. Relationships are a plant that need to be constantly watered. Not only does the relationship need to grow, the two of you need to as well. I'm not perfect, when I start falling off my wife is the first person to put me back on track and vice versa. So no wonder she cheated on you, you negotiate with your own goals, she negotiating with her new dude. Tighten up, be for he do.  This episodes song is called "we went in", by the incomparable Rado & Geez

Sometimes being afraid is a good thing. Episode 23, Jordan (Marv Albert voice)
I want to be successful really bad. Not just for me, for my family. The way I accomplish goals is to look at them in short increments. Sometimes it's hard to not look ahead a realize the task is a difficult one. I get nervous all the time about it, I overlook what I have accomplished already because it's done. I took some time out to acknowledge all the good I have already and the flowers I must continue to water.   This episodes song is one of my favorites, this ones called "You're gonna LOVE me" by yours and my favorite retired washed up rapper GeezFromBrickz.

Back focused, with my recalibrated self
My minivacation to the beautiful lands of Costa Rica was the reset I needed. Going away from my at baseline hectic lifestyle of career, school, fatherhood, and married life in the most densely populated state in the country took its toll. I've reorganized my life into a hierarchy of importance, to complete these goals along with maintaining my responsibilities of a husband and father. So the podcast is still alive, I will post at least twice a week. That's more than enough. Just happy you guys enjoy it. Being a black male professional, my presence is important to my people. We celebrate our athletes and celebrities and not our professionals. The presence of a black man in a position of leadership gave me someone to look to and aspire to be. I'm not 6'9 or can run a 4.3 in the 40 yard dash. Chances are you can't either, use you brain and educate yourself. Find a trade that pays a livable wage. That's how we make ours and our kids future brighter. Knowledge is POWER!!!! Also, the song of the day is called "Right & Wrong" from the incomparable GeezFromBrickz

Salt & oranges in a mango bag with an 8-ball (My trip to Jaco, Costa Rica)
The title is to grab your attention, but it really happened. The people are beautiful, weather is perfect (If you like the sun), and the views are some of the best I've ever seen. I got to catch up with my brothers, they're always fun. Pandemic has destroyed relationships, even put a strain on some of my friendships, thanks God we got it back. Enjoy the story of my adventure to Jaco, Costa Rica. The semi-clean version. Because it is crazy out there.

Just when I thought my baby mother sucked, he said hold my blue juice
Now the title is a joke, but this is no laughing matter. The judicial system has discouraged me in so many ways in regard to my son. I threw my hand up years ago, just to maintain the visitation I was given. Now I could have done better, maybe carried myself more respectfully towards her. But the worst thing a woman can ever do to man is take a father away from his child. This is my friend Andy, his sons mother is diabolical. Also, warning signs and red flags that should be taken seriously early in a relationship that you should never ignore. Lastly, the song of the week is just son BARS from the best retired rapper in history.
