Amazing podcast
Love his voice, reminds me of documentary narrating. Easy to hear and understand, even with his accent. Appreciate the details and research he puts into his episodes. Love listening. 🙌

The Art of the Podcast
Everyone thinks it’s easy to do a podcast until they try to do a podcast. Yours is a hit because of your research and presentation . Your passion, after all the accounting is complete, is basically volunteer work. Love your new artwork and your show! And your style.

UPDATED REVIEW
Old Review: Super interesting. Well done! Thomas is the best! Update: Its gone down hill a little since the start. We now wait 2 weeks between episodes. Thats long enough to forget what happened during the last episode (when there are multiple episodes for one serial killer) and the episodes are too short. It would be better to release one 2 hour episode. I miss the old, longer episodes with more frequent release.

One of my favorite podcasts
I love the detail in his storytelling and I love his accent. I’m a huge fan!

Informative and adequately creepy narration
I am not aware whether or not Mr. Wiborg-Thune has a background in criminology, but he does a fantastic job of following the killers' entire life with information from friends and family and adds it to a very good analysis of behaviors, facts, etc. His Scandinavian accent and delivery gives the narration an old-time scary movie vibe (think Christopher Lee, Vincent Price).

Love this podcast! Very informative and interesting

Excellent storytelling! My favorite podcast!!
I really appreciate your research and story telling skills. I love your accent and your tone is so calming even with the terrible subject matter. I also REALLY appreciate the fact that you don’t try to cram your political beliefs into the podcast. That’s not why I’m here and I have had a hard time finding podcasts that don’t do this!! Please keep up the excellent work!!!

I tried to give this podcast a chance, but tired quickly of the narrator giving too much extraneous information & taking forever to get to the case & the point. For example-way too much time of each podcast giving a rambling history of the city the crime(s) occurred. I understand the desire to paint a picture, but it has nothing to do with the cases. Even when he gets to the case he rambles on & the story jumps around & is not cohesive. Once again too many words used to make a simple point & irrelevant extraneous info. If u want a true crime podcast that is cohesive & examines the case from start to finish without a rambling incoherent story. A podcast that gets to the point right way & presents the facts of the case in a coherent manner without distracting & annoying information try listening to True Crime South Africa.

ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!!
The voice is calming, story is to the point with many details, little to nothing of extra commentary which I love and the consistency of new episodes is incredible. I do not understand the comments stating the accent is too strong because it’s not to me. However, I love it. I have listened to almost every episode at least twice and some more. I do not personally enjoy podcasts that do more commentary than story telling and that’s the biggest reason I LOVE this podcast so much. Straight to the story and to the point with tons of research and information on the topic. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this podcast. It helps me get through a long day at work because I have something I can listen to that I enjoy learning about.

Favorite podcast
I have nothing negative to say about this podcast except I am always wishing for more episodes. Our host’s exceptional reporting of events are as chilling as seeing the evidence photos. He provides multiple angles of each account, without glorifying the killer themselves. I appreciate his coverage of international accounts and accounts throughout the ages. The details provided are not mere bits of google-search regurgitation or the same tired retelling of serial killings for the seasoned listener. Both the host and the material are easy to listen to and always intriguing.

Very Soothing
Carol Bundy and Doug Clark is the best version I’ve ever heard. Wow. Unfortunately for this podcast a lot of trolls make dumb comments and bring down the reviews. Those of us that love this podcast appreciate it for what it is. It’s perfect.

Interesting cases way too graphic
I have listened to this podcast for a few years and have heard every case to date. I personally love the accent. The cases are interesting and unusual with various countries. Unfortunately I can no longer stand the graphic detail of the the acts the people commit. I have noticed this more over the past several cases, and with the last 2 (pig farmer and mutilator), it is just too much. One can tell a story without reading the autopsy report or describing in graphic detail the state of arousal of a killer.

Love the research but....
I find the descriptions of rape and sexual assault way too graphic. Almost pornograhic. I can't believe he's not catering to a certain audience with that.

I really enjoy this.
At first I had my doubts but now it’s my go to. Really enjoy the episode times as they match my commute time. Keep up the good work.

Too close to Home
I have binge listened to all of your episodes. Couldn’t stop listening. Now these three episodes sit here. I just couldn’t bring myself to listen. Westley Allen Dodd was a terrifying reality for this mother of a young blonde boy, his primary target. How we let our children play outside changed forever. My children were not allowed outside without me to supervise. There were gates that closed off the backyard from the front yard. My children were never allowed in the front yard. I know in my heart you has to do these episodes. But the thought of him brings up too many nightmares. After waiting till November 10th to listen. I’m sad. Lee Isely Jr deserved to have his name pronounced properly. I-Z-Lee is how it’s said. I’m surprised after listening to everyone of your episodes that you either missed or left out the circus surrounding Westley Allen Dodd’s hanging. His execution went to court at least once maybe twice. He wanted to donate his organs, this hanging would not damage them. This was fought by the DA and the victims families. The end result was that he would not be allowed to donate his organs.

My favorite!
This is the first time I’ve left a podcast review, but I’m absolutely hooked! I discovered TSK podcast about a month ago & I’m already on episode 125. He does amazingly deep research. Yes, it can be graphic, but that’s because he doesn’t gloss over what these depraved people did. I also like how he sets the scene at the beginning of an episode. I love Thomas’ voice & accent! Listening on 1.5x speed helps it sound more natural to me. I see many have complained about his accent, which is not fair, as it’s not something that can be helped. For me, his accent ADDS to the story, as it is easy for me to imagine Dracula narrating these depraved tales. Thank you very much for the time, effort & hard work you put into this!

Begging
Attempted to start listening and there were TWO different attempts to ask for money before I even heard a glimpse of the show. Made me immediately turn it off and I will not be listening.

Absolutely wonderful execution and amazing research!

By far my favorite podcast
I normally don’t leave reviews, mostly because I’m lazy, but this is my absolute favorite podcast. I’m getting close to have listened to all of the episodes and am slowly down so I don’t run out lol. When I do, I will probably subscribe for more content.

Great speaker
Stories are very interesting and the voice is spectacular
There all taken even this one
No facts
No facts all made up

Only one story
Use to be good still is but why only one story on y’all’s podcast ?
fordman3188
Not for me
I really want to like this pod cast but his word choices and how much he over uses adjectives when describing people, or their habits like the Ed Kemper episode drove me insane. Just tell the story, tell the facts. Stop fluffing it up with all these descriptive words on top of each other.

Love this podcast
Love this podcast there is something about Thomas’ voice that adds that special something. Each episode is a treat his voice and accent just lures you deep into all the depravity and you just get lost in time.
gjbean69
Amazing
The podcast goes into detail which I find very fascinating because I most podcasts I find don’t go into detail and they just talk about what they did. It is a gruesome in the podcast, due to what the killers did. I don’t find it that scary but some people might.

Top Notch Podcast for Hard Core True Crime Fans
I have been listening and enjoying since the beginning but I have never taken the time to review so now I feel I owe it to Thomas. The podcast has improved greatly over time, but the effort put into the production value, content, research and topics has always shined through. Not for the faint at heart, but if discussion of graphic crime bothers you then you should not listen to true crime podcasts. I have tried other true crime podcasts, but this is the only one I have found so far that I can come back to time and again.

Just awful.
About 6 parts into a long series, I had to quit because I couldn’t stand it for one more second. About the first 5 minutes of every single podcast he says the exact same thing & thanks everyone he’s ever known, then he plays music for way too long. If I wanted to listen to music, I would listen to music, not a podcast. Then he goes way too far into detail about locations, investigators, etc. a lot of which seems completely irrelevant. I don’t mind accents but his voice is super annoying.

Has potential
I’d enjoy this more if there was less time devoted to creative prose and very graphic details, and more to the victims, trial, outcome, etc. Some interesting cases are included, but I tend to look them up elsewhere when this doesn’t yield much meaningful information. Will try to keep hanging in there!

Private Screen This One
I love this podcast. But….you might want to use ear buds when listening. Very graphic. Thomas has an interesting, entertaining voice….but he doesn’t hold back any gruesome details about what these monsters did.

Well researched + detailed TC PC
This PC spares no detail and stays focused on the case at hand, no useless personal opinions or PC antidotes. Thoroughly researched and insightful. Nice work!

Totally love how you go in great detail with your content! Keep up the great work! Zilasor78

Concerned
Too graphic detail of rape… the fact the focus is these details rather than the story or killer is concerning.
E.wingette
Child rape doesn’t need that much detail
Enjoyed this podcast until the most recent episode where he graphically and almost pornographically describe a child being raped. If you can replace the victim of the sexual assault with a porn star, you’ve gone too far.
morganismnola
Amazing
Absolutely love your voice!

Ugh.
Unbearable. Just sounds like he’s reading text with no sense of rhythm, No natural cadence, and seems to struggle with the pronunciation of words. I was really excited for this, but never mind.
bassoonistbk
Too much graphic detail
Way too much graphic detail! I think sadistic violent rape gives the listener enough of idea of what is going on, instead of going into the detail the podcaster goes into. It’s pretty sickening.

Great way to get through the work day
Love the content that Thomas produces. The sound quality, the information and detail. I honestly like the accent as well, would not change one bit. Keep up the great work Thomas and The Serial Killer Podcast team! Sending love from America

Top notch
I love the narrator here and he doesn’t sugar coat the details. This is how it’s done, people!

Good stuff
Sometimes too much detail and long winded. But very good, also wait too long between episodes

Deep dives into the gruesome
Love this podcast for the content and accent. Great for cleaning, running, napping, ignoring your children, and freaking out your family when you blast it on full from the shower in the AM.
