Halloween 2017 Minisode!
Brian Recommends: Pseudopod Betrayal at the House on the Hill Stranger Things Trick 'r Treat   Meredith Recommends: That ‘Cthulhu Game’ is actually called ‘Arkham Horror’ A game I haven’t played in ages: Munchkin Bites (a spookier version of Munchkin!) Practical Magic (has Sandra Bullock, does not actually have Benjamin Bratt) Romanian Witches Buzzfeed Costume Picker (I actually calculated ours wrong, because who in this world reads the instructions? So Brian should go as a Drunk Clown and I should go as a Enchanted Kitty - way less interesting combos…)   Halloween Songs/Playlists “Red Right Hand” by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds “Werewolf Bar Mitzvah” by Tracy Jordan (30 Rock) “The Shankhill Butchers” by the Decemberists Brian’s Ultimate Halloween Party Playlist (Youtube) (Google Play Music) Pumpkin Job (aka Pumpkin Gob, aka Pumpkin Crockpot Pudding) 1 can (16 oz) pumpkin 2 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice (or 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1/2 tsp salt) 2 tsp vanilla 1 can sweetened condensed (or 1 can evaporated milk + 3/4 cup sugar) 1/2 cup bisquick (or other baking mix) 2 T butter (melted and let cool off for a moment) 2 Eggs (beaten) Mix all together, transfer to greased/lined crock. Crockpot: 6-8 hr low / 3-4 high Oven: 350 - 45 min Meredith's notes: I reduce the amount of sugar in mine and it's still sweet (esp from cooking for so long) but maybe healthier - warmed up a little, this makes excellent leftovers for breakfast
