Extremely interesting stories that even those not all that into sports will enjoy hearing the what the athletes have gone through and their struggles to victory. Great interviews by Domonique Foxworth.

The angle and concept are intriguing, but there is no real sense of conversation or meaningful insight in the production. The athletes throw out a few blurbs about being down on themselves and working past it without really delving into what their experience was like.

I'm obsessed with this podcast. To start, I'm a Gimlet fanatic... but this podcast is something else. From Foxworth's smooth and soothing delivery to the simple yet compelling musical accompaniment, to the relatable stories, I was hooked from the first listen.

I love this podcast! As a former high school & college athlete, I relate so much to all the feelings each episode describes. You don't have to be a professional to know the highs and lows of sports! Definitely recommend! Now when is an episode about a soccer player going to drop? :-D

This pod adds a human element to the people who we think are flawless. Serves as great motivation for life. Teaches that there WILL be severe adversity on the path to victory.

Dominique Foxworth has the right voice for this podcast. He presents each episode as a story, where the protagonist explains what went wrong, and what they learned. Great podcast if you love sports or are an athlete yourself looking for tips on how to win.

Such a well done podcast. As an athlete and someone who loves sports, finding this podcast was amazing. I love getting hear these stories and I've already listened to all of the ones that are out. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes!

This is great and inspiring! Dominique Foxworth is a great narrator and I love his personal stories and trust him to give an honest take on these situations. This is definitely worth a subscribe. And the episodes are short enough that you won't burn out on them. The Serena episode is great!

Domonique's experience lends himself well to talking about sports, especially moving past difficulties--very inspirational. Great work! Would recommend to anyone!

Domonique Foxworth quite eloquently narrates this well produced podcast that highlights how losing creates winners in extraordinary athletes. The length of each episode is perfect for short listens in the car, etc. Can't go wrong by checking this one out.

Very insightful commentary from athletes! Best part is the production values though; great sound and awesome effects! I could probably listen to Dominique Foxworth read the phone book, but I'm glad I'm listening to him host a fantastic podcast instead.

This show has great commentary and stories from star athletes. I hope it continues in the future and expands its variety of athletes from all sports.

Really disappointed with this podcast. It has so much potential! But I feel like they focus too much on the defeat, and don't focus at all on the strategies/tactics the athlete used to bounce back from the setback. The reason I'm listening to this is to learn how these athletes bounce back, I already know about their setback.

If you play sports you need to give this a listen.

I want to thank the secret to victory. I am a soccer goalkeeper recently I finally got on to the varsity team. It was a rough ride to get there and it was my last year, and I wanted to make it count. I couldn't do that. After the first game that we won in penalties I was the player of the game and everyone started calling me stones. That was the only game we won that season. The bad part is that everyone blamed me for the bad season. And I mean everyone, the whole school. It really depressed me, I was having second thoughts on continuing into soccer. Then I heard this podcast, and I found out that I'm not the only athlete that has failed and it had a devastating impact on them as a player. And these weren't just little league athletes. There pros and I lost all doubt in my abilities as an athlete and I'm going for a high school varsity team. And I owe it all to the secret to victory.

Great concept but very ordinary stories. Nothing truly interesting revealed, not poignant in any way.

Love the interviews and format of storytelling. Wanted it to get a little longer and deal with more of their failures because it was so entertaining but then it might feel too long to other people. Great work Gimlet Creative!

I'm a very well educated sports fan. I listen to a number of podcast (sports related and non-sports related) every day. This podcast is way above average. The narrator has a great voice and the stories have been intriguing so far. This podcast is way better than the new ESPN 30 for 30 podcast. Those have been very disappointing thus far. No where near the quality of the 30 for 30's produced for television. Subscribe to this podcast and you won't be disappointed (especially if you like the SEC). The Manning brothers and Karl Anthony Towns represent Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Kentucky.

Easily the finest sounding (and best producesd) sports podcast on iTunes. Foxworth is an excellent host and the content is compelling... I can't wait for more episodes.

Was excited for insight even though it's branded, but there was just (kinda boring) storytelling with no real wow moments or interesting takeaways.

This is a great idea for a podcast, but it is super short considering the content. Fantastic production and great host. I just wish it were longer and delved deeper into the subject matter.

I see the vision, this is really well produced so I have expectations for future episodes. Starting off with the Manning family is a great intro. Was sent here because I'm a fan of the Lebatard Show and that's where I've heard Dominique.

It helps you know that others are going through the same struggles you are and it helps you have the drive to get through those struggles.

This podcast is terrific! The interviews are extremely interesting and the production value is high. Dominique is a very engaging and informed host and interviewer.
