How do you know when it’s time to let go of a business venture that you sacrifice for, invested in, spend time to nourish, and lived in. How do you know that you should give it up maybe maybe come back to it later on. How do you know? You either do or you don’t. And there may be signs that tell you it’s time to let go. Am I case the signs were evident. Not in the beginning but I prayed for the answer. And I received it. But now it’s time for rest and more important it’s time to think about the next chapter. So if you’re a business owner or if you’re wanting to get into business please know there’s so many things you go through in this process in this journey. But if you’re resilient and faithful then you know letting go is not giving up and it’s not letting go of your desire to be in entrepreneur. It is yet another step in the journey that will grow you up and teach you about yourself and help you come out on the other side that much stronger. In the meantime know that it’s OK to grieve. It’s OK to cry to laugh to be upset to be frustrated, I mean without a business this year has given us those emotions. But with a business it’s OK to feel whatever you need to feel just don’t stay in the feeling. Process it learn from it and move on. I hope you find this episode and enlightening and that it teaches you to not be so hard on yourself. Something better is on the other side. Enjoy and peace.

The way we treat one another in life often crosses over to how we treat one another in business. The two are never disconnected regardless of how we believe it might be. In this episode I discuss the way or ways in which African-Americans are treated in business and in the health field. At the end of this episode my hope and prayer is that we take accountability for our words for our actions and for our thoughts. More important we take accountability for the spirit and the soul that continues to take on the negative instead of understanding the positive. Have a listen. And I hope that you can understand that we just want to be seen as worthy because we are. We all are. Thanks for listening. And if you have questions, I’m here. Peace.

Having a process is one thing. Trusting the process is something completely different. Understanding if your process is working or not well that’s a different beast all in itself. But one thing I’ve learned throughout this process of being a business owner is that you have to leave room to develop that knowledge. You have to leave room to be OK with yourself if it’s not going right. More important you have to be OK to acknowledge what’s wrong and maybe even learning what you can do to make it right. So as you listen to this podcast just know I am on that journey. And just know that I know I’m not alone but sometimes it feels that I am still on that island of one. If you have any suggestions on how anyone can improve on the process as a business owner take a listen to this podcast episode and then leave a comment on the Anchor platform or a Spotify platform or drop me a line on Instagram. Thank you so much for your support and have a great week.

At a certain point in life when we know why we’re not motivated to accomplish certain things we need to move on to doing what we set out to do. Am I Keith it’s taken me 10 years to really understand myself as a writer as a creative and really understand what it’s going to take to get me to the next level in the next stage in my life. And I’m excited about new ventures coming up. I’m excited to share those with the world and with you. My hope and prayer is that you will read the book for what it is and take some time to go deep in time to where you thought you didn’t have what you needed but you realize you have everything you need. As always thank you for your support. And I will catch you on the gram. Peace

Taking some time out to think about my process within my business , how I do things, and how I complete every day tasks took a little bit of a toll on me. A combination of no sleep not eating and stress during this time and just an overwhelming anxiety about not completing what I started had me frustrated and mixing up orders. Now that I am a lot more focused and I spoke with my @lifebymj, a social medial and brand strategist, I received some clarification on what I need to do to improve. I am ready to go make changes and do what’s best to create quality content for my customers. Take a listen and think about your business and how your process is impacting what you do how you do and show up for your customers each day.

When you try and do everything it can become overwhelming. We often lose our “why” amidst trying to navigate a path ripe with zigs and zags. Things become blurry and suddenly the bottom falls from under you. Avoid this is easy. Take a step back and realize what’s most important Tom your success and the successful relationships built between you and your customer base. Once you get back to that point the path is once again clear and it will become easier to move obstacles , mainly yourself, out of your way. Enjoy this week’s episode. Have questions ? What is this loneliness I feel when my mother doesn’t show emotional support toward what I do? How do we deal with the pains of our parents upbringing and how it affected us in our business lives? Ultimately it’s up to us to seek help where we need it. And in the resell community there’s tons of it.
