This week’s podcast is going a little differently than planned, but hey  - that is kind of my point of view for the show anyways?    This week I take on the podcast solo (after some guest complications) and go into all my fun, wild, and life-changing dating stories that happened while I was in the Virgin Islands. I definitely look like a weird armchair lecturer with my set up, and believe it or not - I have never talked to myself so bear with me. With that said, I love every part of every story I have, and I decided to share a dating story that definitely shaped me.    For those of you who watch episode two: I tell these stories to find great in the bad. To find funny in the ridiculous. To appreciate the really great people that are there for you to hold your hand and make you laugh while it is all happening. Because life is “SCHMIDTY” and I decided that if I am going to do this podcast 100%, I am going to go all out and embrace schmidtttttt out of it.    ***trigger warning***  Everyone tells their stories differently. I have watched the last part of this episode at least 40 times to make sure it is impossible for me to be “cancel cultured” and treat my story with as much sensitivity as possible. I am sure that there will be a lot of ways to take my story out of context or be seen as insensitive - and that is the last thing I would ever want. I share this story especially for the women I have on this account and for all people. To see the light in a situation, but also to know you are never alone in anything you do. I am EXTREMELY lucky that I get to share the story that I do and I want nothing more than for all women to at least have the ACCESS and the CHOICE to make the decisions that I made. I am thankful everyday that I was able to make decisions for myself, my life, and my body.  ON THAT NOTE, I hope you enjoy episode two.
