In this episode I call up a tech-support scam. The scam usually involves a fake "virus" on your computer with a phone number to call. They attempt to convince you to let them into your computer remotely and then they "remove" the virus for a fee or hold your computer hostage. I was using a voice changer in this call but did not record the effect. You are hearing my unaltered voice, but the to the telemarketer I sound like a woman. In the next episode you'll hear the voice as they do -- let me know which you prefer.
