I am beyond exciting to bring to you one of my favorite interviews to date. With the Zaya Show!! We talk about Zaya's coming out story and get educated on pronouns he/him/his, she/her/hers, they/them because I know I'm not the only that gets confused. But there is nothing wrong with asking(: Things are constantly evolving and the important thing is that we evolve too. This weeks topic is discovering you identity! Which is very important. Own who you are and don't be afraid to try and figure out who that is. I feel like we constantly are trying to figure out our identities, like a never ending cycle. I am here to tell you that it is essential to growth. I love to compare discovering a new identity to remodeling a kitchen. You either gotta rip everything out and start from scratch or you change a few things here and there. Decide if you like your current identity and want to tweak a few things are start from scratch!!! Either way this podcast episode is going to guide you into figuring out who/what that identity is. xoxo JessZaya: @the_zaya_showPodcast: The Zaya Show@shesintimidating @jesss.arielle

In this weeks episode we are talking about vulnerability. If you want people to understand you, or to help you through your struggles you have to be vulnerable. If you want people to relate to you, you need to be vulnerable. The second I started being vulnerable on my social media and my podcast it started gaining tons of traction! The only difference? I became vulnerable and it allowed people to relate. It allowed people to help me. It allowed people to gain enough confidence to share their story. One of my favorite creators I follow (Jenna Jarvis) created a whole company around vulnerability called, Vulnerability is cool. And IM OBSESSED. It's so cool. it's relatable. (Sister if you ever want me to speak at any of your events I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE. Anyway I hope this episodes encourages you to be vulnerable. xoxo Jess@shesintimidating @jesss.arielle

This weeks episode is all about friendships in your 20s. How to know when a friendship is no longer serving you. Dealing with unsupportive friends. And when it's appropriate to step away from a friendship. Trust me I have seen it all. My biggest advice is to constantly re-evaluate your friendships and pay attention to HOW PEOPLE MAKE YOU FEEL. This is the tale sign of if you should remain friends or not. Just know that you always have a friend in me(: and in this podcast! This was a super hard episode for me to record and release because its raw and a lot of what I am going through in my life right now. Your 20's are hard. Moving across the country knowing nobody is hard. But this is the type of stuff that forces you to grow into the person you were always meant to be. P.S. I AM POSTING THIS LIVE FROM HURRICANE IAN LMAO. So far so good and I absolutely will have an update for you on next weeks episode.Stay safexoxo Jess@shesintimidating (instragram/tiktok)

IF IT AIN'T THE GIRL WHO LASTED 7 DAYS AT HER JOB. Lmao may she Rest In Peace. In this weeks episode we talk about events in my life where I learned the most. Things that also shaped me into the person that I am today. Like the loss of my brother at a young age, and having my heart ripped from my chest by multiple relationship. Here is the thing... I wouldn't have it any other way. I can confidently say that I would not be the girl I am today without the things I have gone through. Whatever you are going through I promise that you WILL SURVIVE. And you will become stronger because of it. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." Literally.xoxo Jess@shesintimidating @jesss.arielle

Aww if you are ever curious what it's like to grow up in Utah you have come to the right place. And yes it is much different than other places. No diversity, no sex talk, and everyone goes to church/ serves missions. The goal in Utah is to conform and if you don't conform you end up like us lolol. Just kidding but it was an honor having my former student body president on the pod to discuss what it was like to grow up in a bubble. xoxo [email protected] @shesintimidating Guest: @sam.uelporras

Awww our favorite question? Is everyone psycho? Or is it just me? Honestly, it's pretty valid. But that being said, who cares? As long as you can put that pretty little face of yours on a freshly washed pillow (this part is important, we don't put our faces on anything other than a freshly washed pillow case) YOU ARE SOLID. Everyone else's opinion simply does not matter. That being said. Yes we are all the problem, but sometimes we aren't. Sometimes it's other people. At the end of the day as long as you are happy with who ever is staring back at your in the mirror. You are enough. I was on Bourbon Street in New Orleans tonight and obviously I HAD to pay 40$ for a 3 min tarot card reader and this is what she said. People will not support you, and often they do not. But the only thing that matters is that you support yourself, and you will see shortly you are making a great decision for yourself. Xoxo Jess@shesintimidating @jesss.arielle

There is something so beautiful about a fresh start. Curating the person you want to be from scratch. Somebody that nobody really knows. This week on She's Intimidating we talk all about fresh starts because well, I am about to get mine. I have always dreamed of a fresh start, in a place that nobody knows me. AND IT'S FINALLY HERE. 5 Days until I am officially a Florida resident. Good bye Utah, you will not be missed. I hope this inspires at least 1 person to get the fresh start that they have always dreamed of. Because you are worthy of that. You don't get to decide how you are brought up, but you do get to decide where you go. Remember that. xoxo Jess @[email protected]

This week on She's Intimidating we talk about losing your identity... The bad news is that losing your identity will have you feeling like you have no idea who you are. The good news is that your new identity can be whatever you want it to be. You can truly become anything you want. I believe that losing your identity forces you to grow and become something else. It's a catapult into your next life. My best friend sent me something today and it goes hand in hand with this weeks episode. It read, "your new life will cost you your old one" I think that we should embrace life for what it is. A chapter book. And with each chapter ending a new beginning starts. So who do you want your new identity to be, and most importantly who do you want to take with you?xoxo Jess@shesintimidating @jesss.arielle

Just like I say in the beginning of this EP there is going to be people that hate you just for existing.. What's that saying? "You could be the ripest peach on the peach tree, and there will still be somebody that hates peaches." SO STOP TRYING TO PLEASE EVERYONE, and start trying to please yourself. The only person that has to spend 100% of their time with you is you. So embrace whoever that is. In this weeks EP I give examples on when I knew that I was the most hated girl in the room and we discuss my thoughts around it. For some reason people who are sure of themselves can come off as threatening to those who aren't. And then comes the isolation. You know the part that gets you excluded from big groups and uninvited to weddings. Yup, that type of isolation. The one that makes you feel so alone and has you thinking "what did I do to deserve this." And to answer that question most of the time you did nothing. You just brought out an insecurity in someone else.My favorite internet sensation to bring up when discussing this topic is Indy Blue. An icon. And if you don't know her you better pull up that instagram app right now. Although her clothing company Lonely Ghost is a staple in her life, as well as her traveling ventures, we are here to discuss her personality. A girl who is truly sure of herself and has a life any girl would dream to have. But with all of that comes haters. people say unecessarily mean and cruel things to her. I give her the example of "the most hated girl on the internet" and not because she did anything wrong or is a bad person. But because everyone feels the need to try and tear her down for absolutely no reason other than she brings out insecurities in them by being herself. Because a lot of people can't do that. Everybody gets insecure but what's not okay is projecting those insecurities onto other people. And for those of you who constantly feel like the most hated girl in the room. Nobody ever remembers the most liked. xoxo Jess@shesintimidating @jesss.arielle
