The Sapphire Radio Show is aimed at inspiring, empowering and motivating young people aged 10 to 30 years. A secondary research study was carried out in 2015 and the findings suggested 4 results. The findings from these studies, are the governing principles that Sapphire operates by. The study looked at the influences that impact the target audience aged 10 to 30 years in the UK. The results showed that Literature, Events, Media and Programmes are the most influential tool. The study looked at the 4 ways people retain information or learn or are entertained. The study showed that influence over 10 to 30 year olds can be achieved through 4 channels, which are through what they watch, read, through socialising/ events and lastly through what they listen to. Here at Sapphire our goal is to transform and revolutionise the world as we know it. We want to be a voice of love, life and hope. We want to foster a community where we build up homes and not tear down dreams. We want to motivate, inspire and empower our generation. The Sapphire Radio Show, is a place where people are free to be themselves. A platform where young people can create the impossible. This is not just any radio station but a home for our generation. A place where you are not judged. A place you create. A place you voice out your concerns and device a strategy for change. This is a station where we tackle the concerns of young people. A place where we highlight the day to day struggles. A place where we stand and own up our scars and say yes, we made it. A place where we take off the masks and stand in the sun.

Growing up in the 21st century, can be so difficult! Trying to navigate who you are, can be extremely hard. Trying to please everyone and to be accepted by all, can be a difficult role to play. We are in a world, where social media is having a massive impact on the way we live our lives. Young people today, are modifying themselves to fit into the status quo and are trying to aspire to be someone else rather than loving themselves. This Radio show is aimed at inspiring, empowering and motivating young people to love their truest selves. Today we are saying, love your quirky parts. In other words, this episode is an attempt to navigate the world of politics at a time where many young people are thinking about their future from the perspective of a post-Brexit Britain. Ese, Joyce and Jonic infuse humour into a topic that, more likely than not, sends people into a state of frustration, whilst also managing to sound like they know what they’re talking about. Do bear in mind that they are not politics students, nor are they experts on the Brexit situation, just three individuals attempting to shed light on a topic many young people try to avoid.
