Hey everyone, welcome back to the show! Today I've got a handful of topics I'm really excited to dive into. First off, I'm going to share a little story about the Kentucky buck I just took down and what that experience was like. Then we're going to get into some really cool science about how deer actually see those rubs glowing in the dark and what that means for us as hunters. I'll also chat a bit about how deer sleep in shifts, which is a pretty fascinating piece of behavior that might explain a few things out in the woods. And as we move into late October and November, we're going to talk about that shift in food sources as the rut kicks in and how bucks start to roam. Finally, I'll share my thoughts on going back to square one on public land, doing those blind sits without any cameras and just relying on woodsmanship. So stick around—it's going to be a fun and hopefully informative ride!
