Need to improve the sound quality.

If Carson would just SHUT UP, this podcast would be amazing. Carson is not a pro golfer. Carson is not a famous person. I forgot he existed until listening to this for Rory and guests, only to realize who the Carson part of this podcast is reserved for. Turns out it’s just Carson interrupting actually fascinating people talk to each other. Incredibly disappointing this random dude spends the entire time talking. Rory could be napping during the recording and no one would know because this is just the Carson guy enjoying the sound of his own voice.

This podcast should be re-titled to more accurately reflect the true content of the podcast. More than 90% of this podcast is dedicated to proving that Carson Daly is famous. In every episode you’ll hear Carson take any available opportunity to name drop all the famous people he knows as evidence of his own fame. Rory McIlroy is a side show, at best. Despite the best efforts of this podcast, it’s still unclear whether Carson Daly is indeed famous. What is clear is that if he is famous, he is the most insecure famous person on the planet.

Rory is one of my two favorite golfers the other being Tiger. I started listening to this is because I am a fan of Rory’s and I like it because I can listen to it while I am on the driving range and putting and chipping. But Carson talks way more than Rory does during an entire episode. And I think Rory should start talking a lot more than Carson but this is a good podcast.

Just listened to the episode with Oliver Hudson. Can he replace Carson PLEASE. So much better. Tired of Carson’s name dropping and all about me attitude.

Take a drink every time Carson mentions how he won Pebble Beach. Never fails even with Steph Curry! Thank goodness Rory called him out on it.

Glad I found this podcast. I deliver to stores daily and being able to go back and listen from the beginning really helps distract from the daily challenges. First few episodes Carson would talk over Rory a little too much but after that they found a groove. The stories from both of them are great!

The TRL guy is muzzling one of the most thoughtful, insightful, and influential minds in golf. Absolute trash compared to other podcasts (NLU/Shane) that Rory did when he was injured/bored out of his mind with people who actually know how to ask questions about golf and let Rory speak without interrupting. Hearing him talk candidly about his thought process in certain moments and his outlook in general is fascinating, and Carson does nothing but hinder him.

I’ve quit listening. If they will replace Carson I will begin again. Rory is great!

You can tell Carson is trying to keep his my shut (beginning of the show) then he just can’t help himself but cut Rory off. Maybe to prove himself to the world that he is important and he very much connected. He needs to realize if he’s a host of Rory’s podcast. He job is to hold space for Rory to speak. Hope he reads the reviews and makes change. Otherwise - he’s gotta go... PLEASE lower Carson’s microphone volume down. He speaks so loud. And, up Rory & the producer’s microphone volume. I couldn’t hear a thing the producer said.

I am very interested in hearing Rory’s insights and enjoy listening to him but Carson Daly makes this unlistenable. His inflated ego and talking over Rory are enough to make you cringe but the douchey tone puts it over the edge. Unfortunately must unsubscribe.

Carson says 3 words for every 1 that Rory says. It could be such a great show but is ultimately a waste of time. No one cares about Carson’s slippery 7 footer for par that he made in his last round or what his childhood amateur career was. Kind of shocked I made it through 6 episodes

The show is great. I wish there was a more consistent schedule with the show and I’d like to hear more about what life is like on tour. Carson is great but Im not sure he should be the one hosting a show based on the PGA. One last thing, the sound quality is simply horrible. I have to turn up the volume in order to listen to them and when the producer speaks I can barely hear him at all.

The show has so much promise. Rory is on of the most interesting athletes to listen to as he is articulate, insightful and has an expansive world view. After an episode I feel unfulfilled because Rory has taken a back seat. Carson jokes about feedback saying he should talk less and then proceeds to talk more!

What has to happen to get Carson off this podcast and find someone else to interview Rory? As soon as that happens my 3 star rating goes to 5. Carson is aware he cuts off Rory and telling stories no one cares about yet he still does it. All I want to hear is Rory because he is the greatest golfer of my generation. Ask him questions, don’t cut him off and don’t disagree with him because no one listening cares about Carson’s opinion!

Love the show but Rory does need to be given more of a consistent platform to talk. He’s a remarkably composed individual in the prime of his career at the top of the sport, and has a refreshing perspective on life in general. Let him show it!

Sorry to say it, as a faceless online critique feels wrong. But only candid critiques will help. Rory is the best interview/personality in golf, which is why the damage Carson does to the pod is so unconscionable. Literally anyone would be better as a cohost. I will listen one last time to hear his comments about the FedEx Cup, but then I’m out. If you want a famous non-PGA player with a busy schedule who loves golf, get Niall, Timberlake, Wahlberg, Cheadle, Feherty, ANYONE.

This is a tough listen. Carson is so bad. Listening to Rory fake laugh at Carson’s jokes is fairly entertaining though.

Good on Rory for saving the show early to allow me to listen to episode 2. Carson doesn’t understand his audience.

Either get rid of Carson or give him a Xanax please. Rory is great though!

I was really looking forward to this podcast. Being a Carson fan and Rory fan I thought this would be “podcast gold”. The best way to sum up my review is this: Carson needs to cut back on the coffee and think Freddie Couples cool. Carson May have won the Pebble Beach tournament, but he’s not in the club. Never will be. He needs to be that guy who represents all of us with handicaps over 2. When Carson speaks it jumps up in volume X 2. That’s hard to enjoy. My suggestion would be to bring interesting guests on the podcast that Rory and Carson can dig in and have some fun with. Love Rory, root for Rory, but the golf world is huge, complex and interesting. Who wouldn’t love some post Friday-cut bar stories? Me!!!

First, this is not “Carson’s” podcast. This is Rory AND Carson’s podcast. I have seen a recent reference where Carson states otherwise. While it may have been his idea, this would have a much different audience if not for Rory. I am a huge Rory fan and love that we now have an avenue to hear him speak candidly. If only Carson would stop interrupting. Hoping that it changes so I can continue listening! Good luck to both! I hope they take the feedback that others provide to make a long lasting podcast.

I was not a huge Rory fan but am now. However, I cannot listen to Carson interrupt, name drop or talk about how cool his 10 year old is another second. Drop Carson, pick another co host, and I’ll keep listening.

I love this podcast, but the sound quality is terrible. I have my computer at max volume & I still need to turn my speakers up to half volume. Most of the time when listening to podcasts I have my computer volume at like 20 and only have my speakers at 1/4 of what I do when I listen to this!

Same as many others. Carson actually asks good questions but then he fires 10 at Rory at one time and doesn’t give him a chance to answer. He cuts him off in the middle of one answer and asks another question. If he would just relax and stop peppering him with questions like this is the only chance he will ever get to talk to him, it would be a lot better. The volume is definitely low.

Content is great, but the volume is very low. I like to listen to podcasts when I’m at the gym, but I can’t listen to this one... way too low. Fix the volume issue guys!

One of the most insightful golfers in existence and Carson can’t let him speak for more than 5 seconds without interrupting. Go back to the Voice.

Carson needs to stop leading Rory like it’s a radio interview. Just talk. Stop giving personal history and introducing yourself on every episode. This isn’t radio. Nobody tuned in halfway through the program. If we’re listening it’s because we found you and know what we’re listening to.

Love the pod so far but the 3rd episodes volume was too low even on full volume with headphones I had a hard time hearing it.

For Christ’s sake Carson, Let Rory speak! Stop interrupting.

They should rename this podcast: “Rory try’s to say insightful things and Carson talks over him.” In the latest episode, Rory started to talk about the hypothetical of his wife being in labor and him simultaneously competing in the Open Championship, and got cut off by Carson. I’d love to hear Rory’s thought on that! We are dying to hear that stuff from golfers. Rory is an all-time great interview, and Carson Daly needs to get out of his way.

This podcast got a great plug by Feherty on his show but where y'all at? Tired of checking every day waiting for episode 3. I get Rory is on tour in peak season but how do we, as fans get or expect any kind of consistency?

Really enjoying the dynamic between these two guys. Carson is obviously the professional talker and has the chops of radio. Unlike another reviewer I’m very interested in hearing both men talk - each having great stories. That said, Carson: back it down a bit and let Rory finish his thoughts.

Carson admittedly has never done podcasts before, so I’m sure (read: really hoping) he’ll improve at allowing Rory to finish answering and perhaps lead the conversation. Both hosts are interesting in their own right, add more balanced conversation and I think this podcast can realize its potential.

Rory is one of he most insightful and interesting interviews in golf. Unfortunately this potentially great show is ruined by Carson Daly, perhaps the most obnoxious point-misser to have ever interrupted anyone.

I enjoy listening to Rory explain his perspective on topics golf related and non-golf related but unfortunately Carson rarely allows him to finish a sentence or a complete thought. I think this could be an excellent show but I’m not really interested in listening to Carson Daly constantly interrupt and try to make the show about him. Hoping that Carson will settle into a more appropriate role.

Carson Daly is one of the most authentic and easy to listen interviewers. It’s also been great to see a different side of Rory and hear how down to earth he is. I’m excited to listen to all these episodes!!!! Keep up the great work fellas!!!

I decided to listen to the first episode because I enjoy Carson on The Today Show but know little about golf. I was pleasantly surprised to really enjoy the episode and the pairing of Carson and Rory. I learned things about golf but also enjoyed the topics that weren’t golf related. I’m happy to continue listening.

Carson, I love you dude, but PLEASE stop interrupting Rory! He tries answering your questions but you keep interrupting his responses! It gets really hard to listen.

Looking forward to the shows. I hope, at least from this pre-episode, that Carson asks more questions, tells us less about himself, doesn’t interrupt Rory when he’s speaking, and let’s Rory be the star of the podcast.

If Carson would just let Rory talk and be able to speak his mind this would be so much better. This is about golf and Rory has so much knowledge about it, just let him talk without interruption.
