Both Brian and Ravi are team members as a part of our new ambitious project -- Demodraft -- a platform that allows users to discover, fund, and support other users before they decide to run for office. They can let their ideas flourish content, such as forums and polls. Ravi is a rising Sophomore at UC Berkeley studying economics and public policy. Over the summer, he interned with progressive congressional campaigns in both Michigan and California, to elect candidates who do not take corporate PAC money. He competes on Berkeley’s Mock Trial team and is a Digital Outreach Organizer for his local Democratic Assembly candidate. Brian is a rising high school senior from Portland, Oregon whose interests lie in the intersection of math and politics. He is invested in public advocacy and service as he runs the student-led educational nonprofit Students Tutor Students and organizes for the Oregon Youth Climate Strike. However, every coin has two sides, and it can be argued the other side is much darker than meets the eye. What is the price we pay for a little extra convenience in our lives?
