The Rivalry Podcast is a weekly radio show hosted by Patrick Peterson and Matthew Barry on WDJM 91.3FM Framingham. The show focuses on everything going on in the world of sports from the perspective of two rivals. Patrick is a Boston sports fan from Massachusetts, and Matt is a Boston sports fan from Connecticut. Together they debate the hottest topics in sports and give insight into all the biggest sports headlines.

The Rivalry Show 8/31/18: The 2018 NFL Season Preview
After a summer long hiatus Patrick and Matt return to preview the long-awaited 2018 NFL season. We start out discussing HBO's Hard Knocks and our optimism for the Cleveland Browns. After that we go back and forth on a few teams that we are excited about, and a few teams that we expect to fare poorly this fall. We wrap things up by predicting the championship contenders in the AFC and the NFC, and giving our thoughts on our beloved New England Patriots heading into their quest for a 6th ring. The Rivalry Show 5/17/18: Avengers Infinity War
We're back! After a brief sabbatical to wrap up the spring semester, Patrick and Matt have returned to discuss the most ambitious crossover event in history: Marvel Studios' Avengers Infinity War. As always, a huge SPOILER WARNING for those that have not yet seen the film. In the show, we talk about some of our favorite scenes and moments from the movie, as well as the biggest winners and losers. We force ourselves to relive the film's final moments before finally discussing where the MCU will go from here. Rivalry Show 3/29/18: Red Sox Opening Day, Stanley Cup Playoffs, and Final Four Previews
On this week's show we record live during the Red Sox's opening day game against the Tampa Bay Rays. We start off by previewing the 2018 Red Sox season, including a discussion of where the team stacks up against the once-again powerful New York Yankees. We follow that up with a preview of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, with a large focus on the Boston Bruins and their sooner-than-anticipated arrival as a cup contender. To wrap up the show, we preview the NCAA Final Four matchups between Loyola Chicago/Michigan, and Villanova/Kansas. Rivalry Show 3/22/18: UConn's #HurleyWatch is Over & March Madness Sweet 16 Preview
On this week's show we open up with a celebration of UConn's hiring of new men's basketball head coach Dan Hurley from the University of Rhode Island. We discuss the impact of the hiring on UConn's chances of competing in the tournament in the near future, as well as how they can improve the perception of their conference. We also touch on what has happened so far in the March Madness tournament, including major upsets by UMBC and Loyola Chicago, and choke jobs by Michigan State, Arizona, and Xavier.
