In this weeks episode, my guest Iliana Guibert and I discuss what it's been like for her in this crazy business we love so much.  7 years ago she saw an opportunity to really dive into show business full steam ahead and has taken it.  Now, she has an extensive IMDB page with credits such as Law & Order SVU, Blue Bloods, Quantico ... just to name a few, and so many more to her name.   One credit we talk about in particular was her passion project that she had written and produced as well as starred in, TWICE UPON A TIME, a short film that has gone on to win nearly 20 festival awards.

In this weeks episode I bring on a blast from the past.  a 20 year friendship that all started while pounding the same pavement and chasing the same dreams.  Maja McIlravy comes on as we talk about her journey back into performing.  What she is doing to hone her craft... how she is striving to be an inspiration with her blog and how she is utilizing all of this to set a  good example for her daughters.  We also discuss mom life... her running up in the MAXIM COVER GIRL COMPETITION and along the way we take it back 20 years and tell stories and discuss the differences in life and business then vs. now. 

Linndz and I discuss the music culture in NYC in the 80s and 90s. His influences that inspired him to follow his passion and help cultivate the NYC underground urban music scene. We also discuss his long process in educating himself about his passion... His success and failures and keeps him moving forward.

This is the resurgence of THE RISE. After a hiatus I'm back every single week. In this impromptu.... spontaneous episode, I talk about how not overthinking and just BELIEVING is always a better way to live life. I talk about different instances, both professionally and personally, in my life were this has benefitted the most. I also discuss where I've recent gotten my inspiration from over the past 2 years and how I continue to have faith and believe that I will get where I need to be in life.

In this episode, I talk about how important it is to value yourself more and care about the opinions of others less. No one's opinion of you matters more than your own.
