HR 1 - The trade deadline was a big success for the Red Sox
The show starts right as the trade deadline ends and the Red Sox were aggressive in making the deals they wanted. How shocking was it to see Craig Breslow not sit on his hands and get the trades he wanted done? Then, Marcelo Mayer's tenure in Boston is over and it sure sounds like the Sox didn't want anything to do with him which is why a reliever was the return. And, it may have been an overpay for the Sox to acquire Adley Rutschman, but that's the price it takes to make a World Series contending team.

Also, its time to gear up for a legit playoff run and there aren't any more excuses as to why the Sox can't do it.
