When is something sacrilegious? Give an example of "Eat the meat, leave the bones". What happens when our beliefs/values are based on what others tell us they should be?

What is the Church's response to poverty? Should we try to assimilate the refugee/immigrant into our American church? What is the appeal of the ethnic church?

How does the life of Jesus apply to our current culture? How important is power in our culture? How should a follower of Christ think about power?

How do you connect people at church? Do you find that people want to be connected? What is at risk with little or no connection?

Is there a single version of truth? In an independent church, who interprets truth? How does truth differ from opinion? Does truth change?

How important is hospitality in the church? What does hospitality look like? 

What is your process for staying focused? What are the underlying contributions to distraction in ministry? How does God get the attention of the focused person?

What does it mean to compromise? How often do you compromise in your leadership role? Is compromise a lack of faith or a resetting of expectations?

What are your expectations of people? Have those changed as you have changed? Is there a relationship between expectation or obligation and belonging? What is the result of belonging without expectation?
