The Obi Wan Kenobi of Hand tools
If you have interest in improving the standing of your man card membership then you've probably looked into learning how to use woodworking hand tools. This is the Jedi master you've been looking for, a 3 star general of the hand tool regiment.

This is a great podcast
I have been watching Shannon as he evolved from his power tool shop into his mostly unplugged shop and admire the effort and dedication this requires. His successes have inspired myself and I am sure others to reconsider the reasons they started woodworking. I started woodworking in an 8th grade shop class and had to create a project completely using hand tools. It was a lot of work but I didn't care as I enjoyed the process and challenge. I have begun to think I need to go back to that enthusiasm I had back then when shaving the wood with a plane that I am sure had not been sharpened since the day it came out of the box brand new. That project still sits on a shelf and I still look at it with pride. Thanks for your help in bringing back some passion that I have lost over the years.

RWW 75 Williamsburg
I really enjoyed RWW 75 the visit to Colonial Williamsburg and can't wait to make a trip there myself. It was interesting to see the well organized hand tools shops, both cabinetmaking and carpentry. It gives me some good ideas about how to improve my shop for that style of work. Thank you.

Excellent Podcast!
An excellent podcast, that embodies the essence of the renaissance woodworker, no type of woodworking is off limits, and he blends machine and hand tool use well. And how can I fault a podcast that makes a reference to my own work!

Perfect for the turning audience!
RWW fills a much-neglected aspect of woodworking in the podosphere - wood turning. Shannon adds a wonderful and entertaining 'spin' on the craft.
