The dictionary defines the term Remnant as…. • Something that is left over from a larger original piece or amount • Something that remains • A Remnant is usually a small part or small surviving group From a Biblical perspective God’s remnant is His people… It’s those who are faithful to Him no matter how much opposition they face or hardship they endure Do these 3 defining characteristics of a Remnant define you? 1. Do you have an Unchangeable Commitment to Cling to the Lord? 2. Do you have an Unwavering Desire to Make Disciples? 3. And do you have a Reliance on Hope?

Question to really consider: What would my physical health be like if I ate physical food in the same way I ate spiritual food? 4 Ways to Feed Your Faith: 1. START WITH THE WORD OF GOD • Bible = Spiritual Protein • Nothing will satisfy the hunger of your soul more than the Word of God • Our spirit lives by every Word that comes from God (Matthew 4:4) • We must feast/ruminate on the Word of God (Joshua 1:8) 2. SELECT SUPPLEMENTS WISELY • Anything outside of the Word of God that is intended to grow your faith is a spiritual supplement • Just because something is labeled spiritual does not make it healthy • A lot of misinformation and deception in the world today (1 Timothy 4:1) • If it contradicts the Word of God, it’s FALSE 3. SHARE YOUR FAITH • never overlook or underestimate how important and how powerful this is (Philemon 1:4-7) • When you see people respond to you or others sharing their faith it feeds your faith • The sharing of faith spreads and feeds all who hear (Romans 1:8) • Don’t be a secret agent Christian…. 4. STARVE YOUR FLESH • Sinful nature = flesh • Flesh vs. faith • When you feed one you are starving the other • Outcome of feeding your flesh (Galatians 5:16-17) • Outcome of feeding your faith (Galatians 5:22-23) • How to starve your flesh (Romans 12:1-2)
