I’d been remiss in rating what is—in retrospect—my preferred podcast recap of everything important. Sure there’s 5Things and Start Here…I listen to those too, but after this one. I love how cheeky and fun the news was reported without ever being insensitive. And now, it’s stopping on December 16. It’s so depressing—the perfect formula, and they just didn’t stick with it. Kudos to the entire team. You made my mornings noticeably better, and unlike other podcasts…I will miss this team like friends moving out of state. Be proud of wh you achieved and please update if the show ever gets a reboot. Thank you, thank you!!

I’m a huge fan of the show, listening every morning on my commute to work. But now the 2 hour delay in airing means I don’t get to listen to the latest episode until the following morning. I now feel a day behind on the news 🥺.

Great news update both topical and diverse in an easy listening format clever production with interesting sideline stories you’ll not hear elsewhere

News delivery is concise. Interview questions are well prepared. Banter gives podcast personality but is kept minimal. Rebecca and Dave are likable. I really like this podcast; it’s time well spent.

The report opens somebody’s eyes but you should ha another comparing recomedations. Try it out and you maybe happy if you have a good recommendation. Try it cause you might get lucky. Good luck

I love knowing this show is always up to date, no matter when I get the chance to listen to it - first thing in the morning or even in the afternoon. Also Dave and Rebecca are awesome!

Just gets to the news I need straight away at the beginning of the day. Doesn’t waste time loitering on a topic to long which is so useful for my commute. I usually listen twice more during the day just to see if and how stories have moved on. Brilliant!

The perfect length for a daily update, plus the news they cover is always better updated than other daily podcasts. I’ve grown to really enjoy the style of the hosts—professional but fun. It’s a show I didn’t know I needed until now.

I’ve started to make The Refresh a part of my daily routine. It’s breezy, fun, smart, and no matter what time of day I get time to listen to it has the latest headlines.

I don’t think we need the two headlines and a lie deal. We’re here for news, not attempted comedy.

So easy and quick and way more interesting and fun than other news shows. I’m a fan! Adding to my morning routine.

Don’t bother

Ive been looking for a news podcast and I’m gonna stick with this one. I love that this podcast is real time - breaking up to date stories as the day goes on. And the hosts are entertaining and charismatic. Can’t wait to keep listening!

This frequently updated ‘cast covers the news that most of us care about. Separated into chapters, it allows me to go directly to the stories I most want to rehear. It’s a hit!

Love the new audio news podcast ‘The Refresh’! This will be my new morning routine to catch up on the latest news I need before I start my day. I’m intrigued by the new technology also.
