Why Mentorship is Essential to Every Man. Guest: Garret Barbush, Men of Iron
Garret Barbush, president and CEO of Men of Iron, a ministry that develops frameworks and resources for a number of different kinds of mentoring relationships joins The Redeemed Man Podcast. There are plenty of younger men out there looking for advice and mentoring from men with more life experience, Barbush says, and many older men who would jump at the chance to share what they’ve learned with a younger generation. “There’s just this stalemate that’s happening in God’s kingdom right now, and it’s that men just aren’t asking for it,” he explains. Becoming a Man of Strength, Substance, and Spirituality. Guest: Britt Gusmus
Britt Gusmus, joins The Redeemed Man Podcast. Britt Gusmus, author of the recently released The Oak Tree Source, as well as co-author of The Impact of Influence, released last year. He was also a multi-sport athlete with prospects in Major League Baseball before, as he freely admits, bad choices and a lack of emotional maturity derailed his athletic career. But his spiritual journey taught him that he needed to “evolve” from what the world saw him as into the man God wanted him to be.  Now a coach, educator, and speaker, he draws upon his experiences to inspire similar evolutions in men of all ages.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets,  show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming webinars and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles.Have a redemption story? Finding Success in the Struggle - Guest: Gary Miracle
Gary Miracle joins The Redeemed Man podcast. Gary Miracle,  a Tampa-area husband and father of four for whom a catastrophic blood infection cost all four of his limbs in early 2020. Yet his first thought upon learning the news wasn’t anger or despair, but rather the wisdom of the Book of Job—”The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away.” “I remember thinking that in my life, it was just my taking-away time. I can’t be thankful all my life for the things He’s given me and then be mad at Him for the things He’s taken away,” Miracle says. Today, armed with a wheelchair and prosthetics, Miracle does everything from household chores to coaching his kids’ sports teams and running two-mile races. And he hopes his story will inspire other people to find hope and healing through Christ. “I just want to preach from the rooftops about God’s grace, how good God is, and how He doesn’t make mistakes.”Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets,  show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming webinars and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles.Have a redemption story? Pornography Addition Testimony - Guest: Greg Bainter
Greg Bainter joins The Redeemed Man podcast. Greg Bainter, who struggled for decades with a pornography addiction before finding the courage to confess his secrets to his wife and re-dedicate himself to a godly life. His “recovery” was aided by LiveFree ministries and its accountability app, through which he met other men who had battled similar addictions—and, eventually, younger men whom Greg was able to mentor using his own struggles and experiences. Today Greg says he lives by three words: authenticity, vulnerability, and integrity. “I tell the guys I mentor, ‘If I slip up, I’m going to share that with you, even though I’m mentoring you. Because if you want to know me, you have to see me authentically, and that means the good and bad and the ugly. I just know that’s how I have to live my life going forward.”Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets,  show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony. The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles.Have a redemption story? Getting Free - Guest: Carl Thomas with Live Free
Carl Thomas joins The Redeemed Man podcast. Carl Thomas, who struggled with a pornography addiction for two decades before “getting free,” becoming an ordained pastor, and founding Live Free ministries to help other men stuck in a similar cycle of addiction. A nationally certified neuro health coach, Thomas explains that porn is a symptom rather than a disease—“it’s just a thing that people turn to, like alcohol, drugs, overeating, or any number of things.” By focusing less on the shame aspect of addiction and more on the underlying issues that drive men to turn to porn as a distraction or escape, he says Live Free helps them break free of that dependency and gain a greater appreciation for the relationships and God-given blessings that truly make life worth living.Visit The Redeemed's website for discussion question sets,  show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony. The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles.Share your redemption story here.Be sure to follow The Redeemed on Social Media: FacebookInstagramTwitter

Courageous Love - Guest: Frank Schwartz, President of F3 Nation
Frank Schwartz joins The Redeemed Man podcast.  Frank Schwartz, president of F3 Nation, with the Fs standing for “Fitness, Fellowship, and Faith.” F3 started in Charlotte, N.C., a decade ago simply as a way to provide fellowship opportunities for adult men through free, organized outdoor workouts. As the workout sessions grew and friendships strengthened, the participants felt more at ease sharing their thoughts, issues, and frustrations. Today, not only do they support each other through difficult times, they combine their leadership talents for philanthropy and community projects. “By putting men on a mission again, the vast majority I believe will find it,” Schwartz says, “and will begin to ask those tough questions: OK, why am I here? What is it that I’m here to do so that I live out the best life I possibly can?” The F3 network currently includes nearly 3,000 separate groups in 40 U.S. states and several countries around the world.Visit The Redeemed's website for discussion question sets,  show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony. The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles.Share your redemption story here. Taking Off The Camo - Guest: Patrick Tyndall with Ironman Outdoors
Patrick Tyndall joins The Redeemed Man podcast.  Patrick Tyndall, founder of Ironman Outdoors, in which men bond with each other over both hunting and discussion sessions that give them a chance to open up about their deepest fears and insecurities. Particularly for men who are disinclined to attend church regularly in the first place, traditional church environments can be a difficult place to be honest and reveal their true selves—to “drop their camo,” as Tyndall describes it. But an IO hunting trip, he says, provides an engaging way for men to relax and bond with one another, even if they’re complete strangers. “If you put him in a hunting cabin or a lake house with 12 other men and they’re willing to take their camo off and say, ‘Hey, this is what I’m dealing with,’ then they’ll be more likely to take their camo off too.”Visit The Redeemed's website for discussion question sets,  show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony. The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles.Share your redemption story here.
