Meh
I was really excited about this podcast since I’ve loved Unsolved Mysteries since I was a kid. Unfortunately it’s just not my cup of tea. I prefer to listen to True Crime shows where they stick to the facts without making judgementel polical/social comments. If I wanted to listen to a podcast that make’s negative comments about politicians I’d just listen to a political podcast. I’m here for the True Crime, not their opinions on non true crime stuff. Great idea for a show, but unfortunately it just wasn’t what I hoped.

Too juvenile
Too much ladies with oh my, oh no, oh that’s so sad.

Appropriate amount of snark
This show is a lot of fun and much more informative than the cold “sentenced to life in prison and has since been released” single panel, vague updates that have been tacked on to the original segments. It’s been about a year since the final episode aired but I’m hoping to will the show’s return into existence.

Review for a podcast that exists no more
I realize that this rad podcast doesn’t actually exist anymore but I think rating and reviewing still helps get shows more exposure so maybe these honeys will come back? Probably not! I wish-I’ve been rationing but I’m almost done with episodes. I think I figured out that there are no missing episodes here so ignore my last review- I’m editing it! Really appreciate and respect the hosts- one of the best vibes I’ve come across yet which would probably be difficult with 3 hosts. To the hosts- Thanks for all you did! UM is my favorite show and this podcast have given me so much joy!

No one cares what you think about the word macho, they only care about the story. Leave yourself out of it. Ego ruins everything.

Wonderful
These amazing honeys keep me updated on all the stack mysteries and I can’t get enough

A podcast with hosts I’d actually want to hang with
This by far was one of my fave Unsolved Mysteries podcasts. I stopped listening to two male group podcasts because this was just better. People may complain about certain politics (those always come out of the woodwork in reviews) but as a Black podcast listener I’m always leery about true crime stories. These ally’s discussed different issues with grace, which at times is rare in the tc genre, and I appreciated that. While I’ll miss this show, it’s totally understandable why it’s coming to an end. I wish you all much happiness and will still recommend to my podcast listening friends. We love you so back!

Best Mysteries Since Robert Stack Himself
Love these three! I fell I love with Resolved Mysteries after rewatching UM. They’ve done a great job and I’m sad to see them go.

The Best Unsolved Mysteries Podcast
While this trio just announced they will be ending the podcast, I feel it is imperative for its back catalogue to stay up and for new listeners to know that this podcast is still worth listening to. I have been binging Resolved Mysteries for the last few months and literally caught up the day they announced farewell. Parting is such sweet sorrow, but the friendship is eternal. I hope Karlin, Eliza, and Allison will retain a presence online so as to stay connected to the community they built. Excellent work, honeys!

A fond farewell
I just found this podcast a few weeks ago and just today caught up to the most recent episode just to find out that the next episode would be it’s last. I am heartbroken over this but completely understand that the “Honeys” need a mental health break. That said I still highly recommend this podcast especially if you were a fan of the OG UM. The honeys give synopsis of the episode and then provide a thoughtful and concise deep dive into the subject matter. They are very entertaining and you can hear that they are the best of friends. Should they ever decide to return to podcasting I would follow them even if they would only describe paint drying! Lol!! Ladies cheers to your future endeavors!!!

New Favorite
Working from home I have to have something on to work or it’s wayyyy too quiet, and wow do these girls feel like my new work besties! Me and my college roommates used to get way too wine drunk and try to find the updates on old cases, so I’m so thrilled that I found something that scratches that itch- without me having to do any of the research! Keep it up honeys!!

Skip It
I tried to give this a chance but it’s like finger nails on a chalkboard. It’s like listening to 80’s valley girls. They talk over each other. Make affirmations after each sentence. Yes all of them. Very uneven without structure. As if the junior high sleep over isn’t bad enough we add in opinions on racial issues, women’s rights, political and every subject your trying to not listen to and just Listen to a crime story.

Grow up
Just checking this pod out and the one I pick they are laughing about “Ted Bundy was a Republican” t-shirt. Such maturity! John Wayne Gacy was a democrat, did you forget the photo of him with Rosalynn Carter? Chris Watts and Dorothea Puente were democrats. Ted Kaczynski was a Libertarian. Who cares about political affiliation. If we are listening to your pod it’s for true crime content. Maybe you should stick with that, jmo.

I'd rather they skip the UFO/paranormal segments than listen to them be condescending about it.

Love the pod
Alison, Eliza, and Karlin feel like my podcast besties!! They work so hard, do such an incredibly thorough job with pretty much *every* case - and that is A LOT of cases. They handle sad cases with care and respect (sometimes injecting humor but never in a way that’s callous or at the expense of victims), and their silly case segments are pure joy! I’m a proud patron and love the extra content!! Their Instagram is a great supplement to the podcast! Truly, they’re the full package. My only issue is their use of a “blaccent.” The “honEEEY” and “girl” and stuff.

Favorite Podcast of 2021 (and 2022)
Folks…this is a podcast hosted by three of the best hosts you’ll find. You will hear words like “recco” and “beefysode.” If you like explicit language and skepticism towards the “unexplained” (like me) this is the podcast for you. I am just finishing Season 3 Episode 20 and it just keeps getting better and better. I highly recommend becoming a Patreon as well.

Hours of entertainment!
As a mostly stay at home mom, I’ve had to try and find ways to stay sane and listen to HOURS of podcasts daily. My favorite part of being home sick as a kid was watching UM. These girls feel like I’m hanging out with my fav besties, as I endlessly clean and sip wine WAY too early! I’m only half serious about drinking too early🙃 Cheers honeeeeeys. Don’t be a DB!

Love this podcast
Very enjoyable podcast. I loved UM as a kid and I enjoy the honest and funny review of each episode as well as any updates the hosts can find. They have a camaraderie and a point of view / a personal style that some people seem to not care for but which I find enjoyable

Great job
Honnneeeyyssss! This show used to creep me out when I was growing up. It’s interesting rewatching them as an adult and hearing the updates you ladies provide. Thanks for your great work!

Just yes!!!
This podcast was created in my dreams! I’m a huge unsolved mysteries fan! Watching with my mom when I was young, scared to death, but so interested! Like many other people, It’s what kicked off my life long love of true crime! Finding out whatever happened to these long lost cases is so interesting and entertaining!

A Weekly Stress Reliever
I started listening to this a few months ago and binge-listened to all of the older episodes. I felt like I was listening to friends chat about weird crimes/mysteries, and it became an instant relief for me among my daily life stressors. The three hosts have perfect banter, discussion, and reports regarding the mysteries, and it has been such a joy getting to “know them” throughout all of the episodes. I’m honestly sad that I caught up, because I crave so much more than a weekly episode. I highly recommend this podcast for those of you who want to know about certain crimes and mysteries and what ended up happening down the line, and those of you who just want to listen to a good, entertaining podcast with excellent hosts. The subject matter is sometimes heavy, but the episodes always leave me feeling happier.

THESE AMAZING PEOPLE
Now I would give this show 6 stars but unfortunately I can’t because I’m recently hooked and they do such a great job with research and keeping the audience enthralled……I’d love to go to sleep but I’m up late hours binging the amazing content. So I have to knock it to 5 stars. Keep up the amazing work!

Currently Binging
My only complaint is I came upon this too late in life and now I am simultaneously trying to binge every ep, dip into all the recommendations for other podcasts, books, shows, etc that are suggested and trying to wash my hair like twice a week. Keep it up ladies!

Cute-sy garbage.
Unworthy of the “Mysteries” association. The hosts are unbearably annoying.

UPDATE Excitement
If you used to watch Unsolved Mysteries and get an instant serotonin rush when Robert Stack would say, “UPDATE“, this is the podcast for you. Not only is it clever and hilarious (not gratuitously, like the hosts don’t overdo their hilarity) but it is chock-full of information and updates to current! The ultimate, “UPDATE”! Plus it’s fun to revisit the old episodes. Spend as much time listening as you can (including your Missing Time)!

I am so glad this podcast exists!!! I love finally getting a little bit of closure on some of these episodes I used to watch as a kid!

This started as a jealous listen 😂
So my dream podcast was always this one- recapping and updating UM episodes. Boy am I glad these ladies started it and not me. They are empathetic, curious, thoughtful, thorough, and HILARIOUS! It is the podcast I wanted to make but never did, and I am hooked.

Pleasantly Surprised
*edited to add: it has been over a month since my initial review and I wanted to come back and say that I am now a Patreon supporter. I love that these women support each other, as well as other women, minorities, and the LGBTQ communities. They speak out about injustices while also showing compassion for the victims and their families. I also like how they aren’t at all hesitant to call out problematic statements made on the show and when giving their updates. It’s a great podcast that has the nostalgia from the late 80s and early 90s with a present day commentary. I cannot get enough! I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect, and after listening to the first episode (which was actually season one ep eleven on Spotify), I realized that it was mostly unscripted and it was a nice surprise! I love the back and forth between the girls and when I found their Twitter page, I fell in love because we share the same political leanings. Being from the south where I’m surrounded by (insert word here), I feel like I finally have some true crime liberal friends now!

If you don’t like laughing, crying, or being horrified by the actions of other humans move it along
I used to watch Unsolved Mysteries all the time as a kid and then found the Film Rise edits as an adult on Amazon. This was only the second podcast I’ve attempted to listen to and I fell right into the rabbit hole. The hosts are funny and relatable though as an east coast gal the accents took a minute to adjust too haha. It’s a nice break from all the stress the last year has brought in and as an insomniac they’re nice company. I enjoy how authentic they are every episode and the bloopers they sneak into the ends are hilarious. Keep up the good work ladies! (Also keep up with the swears and spooks)

Probably, but no weirder than the fact that there’s a disembodied leg emoji) Anyway, this show is one of my all time faves to listen to! Thanks so much for all the hard work and research you guys do!

Truly the most annoying voices in podcasting, hennyyyyyy. Wish someone less irritating would make this some podcast.

Favorite Podcast!
The quick banter keeps me smiling. I've begun watching Unsolved Mysteries after listening to Alison, Karlin, and Eliza through the pandemic and appreciating their company. This podcast really brought sunshine to my days. Alison is a scamp! I love her character and attitude! I love that you are good friends, it must be the special sauce. Will do Patreon soon <3

It’s the cop worshiping for me.
Ok podcast. Way too much coppaganda. They half an episode crying over some pig whose luck ran out. Left a bad taste.

Love it even though I’ve never watched UM!
I adore these ladies and now I’m binging all the seasons and going to join their Patreon! I have always been true crime obsessed but never watched the show Unsolved Mysteries but when Resolved kept popping up in my podcast recommendations I decided to give it a try and I’m so glad I did! I love they also include the stories with happy endings so you get a pallet cleanse for the episodes that have not so great endings!

There are so many times I watch Unsolved Mysteries and want to know more about the story. These ladies do all of that work! I love how much information these ladies find and share.

True Crime with Heart
I don’t even listen on this app but since I’m unable to review on the app I do listen to, I decided to install Apple Podcasts just to recommend these amazing ladies. I grew up watching Unsolved Mysteries and true crime shows in general and this podcast is everything I didn’t know I needed. I love how they handle each topic with the compassion and delicacy that is so often lacking in the true crime genre, while still managing to have light hearted banter and laughter. I appreciate how very real it all feels, and their obvious friendship is such a charming addition to an already fantastic podcast. And y’all, there’s UM updates! It is the perfect companion piece if you decide to watch Unsolved Mysteries as they do a ton of research to provide much-needed context the show often doesn’t provide, and sometimes their research makes a meh segment into something totally crazy and unexpected. I LOVE this podcast, and if you love true crime with some heart (and some swear words to spice up the conversation), then this is the podcast for you!
