I love to listen while I am working on my quilts and fiber art. It feels like Susan, Vivika and their artist in residence are here in my studio with me. My one wish is that they do more! It’s really hard waiting for the next “visit” from my quilting friends.

I’ve loved Quilting Arts for years, so I was especially excited to learn about this podcast. As much as I love the show, I’m often left wanting more content after the 30 minutes are up. Because podcasts are so portable, this fills in that void nicely. Susan and Vivika, you do an excellent job of discussing quilting and art and any number of historical and contemporary issues. I’ve loved each episode, and I find myself going down the rabbit hole of show note links and info afterwards. I hope you find inspiration and content to keep putting out more and more episodes!

I’m like a child waiting for Christmas to hear your podcasts. I’m new at art quilting and am in awe of all the techniques that are discussed. How do you ever choose your style... I’m not an art quilter but, nevertheless, enjoy the topics on this podcast. The hosts are very intelligent, articulate, and ask interesting and thoughtful questions; I appreciate that they let the guests talk. I’m learning a lot and loving the episodes.

Because of QA magazine, and now your podcast, I have been inspired to move from making practical items following someone else’s direction to making up my own projects and moving toward art. After a life of saying “I’m not an artist. I can’t draw,” I finally have the courage to create. Thank you.
