Shamed
I wanted this “guide” and just felt shamed instead . . . Which is how kids grow up to be co-dependent. Thank God I found content that showed me
Grace.

Not a fan
I downloaded several episodes and tried them out. I was interested the descriptions and topics. However, this guy never speaks from mental health research (because he is not a mental health professional), only his (very negative) personal opinions. I listened to one all the way through, and two about halfway through. I try to do this with every podcast to give them a chance. I don’t mind the profanity. It’s the negativity I cannot stand. Some of his rants just get dark, and don’t ever end with any note of positivity. Life is not “black and white” this way; any research will tell you that life is a huge paradoxical series of gray shades.

Just what I need
The host’s energy can be super intense and some days that’s just what I need. Appreciate this podcast.

Offended
Don’t appreciate the negative vibe & the F word.

Extra noise
I was really interested in what this person had to say about codependency. But trying to listen to an episode and hearing so much extra noise in the background combined with so many spaces between fragment and sentences was just too much to bear. I even tried to speed up the podcast to see if maybe that would help. But it’s still did not. It almost seems like he is walking somewhere with a mic strap to him and being completely distracted while he’s trying to host a podcast. I don’t really understand.
