I have thoroughly enjoyed taking a closer look at Abigail's life with you, and I hope you've experienced a similar delight. Today we conclude her study and accept all of the grace that Holy Spirit releases to us.
He is NO respecter of person. He is the SAME God from yesterday (with Abigail) that He is today (with us), and will be tomorrow (with our children). And, as a truth in faith, we accept from Him RENEWED:
- understanding
- wisdom
- patience and timing
- gentleness and kindness
- humility
- discernment
- timing - know when to move and when not to move
- intercession and intervention
- proper alignment and connections
- wealth and success
- an ear to hear and really LISTEN to others
- contentment, and an ability to take what we have and use what we for His glory
- truthfulness
- an ability to encourage others in their purpose - even if they mean us harm
- bravery and fearless; NOT running away from any battle that we're supposed to run toward
- using our weapons to fight - non-carnally
- addressing peoples true needs and issues (including rejection)
- and so many others.
What weapon (characteristic) from her story do you need to build up? Because there will ALWAYS be battles to be faced. And won. And, we can win them as Abigail did. Humbly and gracefully. In Jesus name.
