In this sermon Pastor Adam Coleman kicks of our Freedom Sermon Series by exploring our "Freedom From The Enemy". Freedom in Christ is deeper than changed circumstances—it is the confidence that Jesus has already won the battle we could never win on our own. Though we still face spiritual opposition, we do not face it alone or without hope. Because of Christ’s victory, we can live with courage, stand with confidence, and walk in the freedom He has already secured for us.

Life rarely goes the way we plan it—and Jesus didn't promise it would. In his final words to the disciples before the cross, Jesus offered them something better than comfort: a joy the world can't take because it's rooted in him alone, not in circumstances. When we believe that Jesus has already overcome, we can face uncertainty with untouchable joy, knowing our story has a beautiful ending even when the in-between feels like it might break us.

This Father’s Day message from guest speaker George Morris, State Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, explores Jesus’ words in John 15:18–26, reminding believers that following Christ often brings opposition because the world first rejected Him. He identifies sin as humanity’s greatest problem, highlights the growing rejection of biblical truth both in society and within the church, and points to God’s grace through Jesus Christ as the only solution. Listeners are challenged to recognize and repent of sin, pursue a deeper relationship with the Father through prayer and Scripture, love and forgive others, and become faithful disciples who lead others to Christ. 

Guest speaker Pastor Stu Hodges takes us to John 15, where Jesus teaches that a joyful life is a fruitful life—but the key isn’t working harder, it’s staying connected. Through the picture of the vine and branches, we discover that fruit comes not from striving but from remaining in Jesus, our source. If you’ve ever felt the pressure to do more and earn your way to joy, this message is an invitation to stop striving and simply stay connected.

In Week 2 of our series through the Farewell Discourse in John’s Gospel, Pastor Gabe teaches from John 14:15–31 on Jesus’ promise of the Holy Spirit. As Jesus prepares His disciples for His departure, He assures them they will not be left alone. We’re reminded that through the presence of the Holy Spirit, God is with us—guiding us, comforting us, and filling us with His peace.

In Week 1 of our new series through the Farewell Discourse in John’s Gospel, Pastor Gabe teaches from John 14:1–14 and reminds us that when the future feels uncertain, Jesus remains steady, present, and trustworthy. It challenges listeners to examine the condition of their hearts and take their next step in trusting and obeying God. 

Pastor Tony continues the 40 Days in the word series by teaching from Matthew 5:11 about how we can properly understand the meaning of the text. He explains that the Bible is a grand narrative, and in order to understand it properly we must first realize that God is the central figure of the story. He then explains how studying the scripture in the right order, with full attention, and connecting relationally to God through the text can help us hear the voice of God through the pages of scripture.

How do we actually study the Bible? In Week 4 of 40 Days in the Word, Pastor Gabe walks through a simple, practical approach to understanding Scripture by asking the right questions and learning how to apply it to our everyday lives. We’re challenged to move from simply reading the Bible to engaging and applying it—because going deeper in God’s Word is what leads to deeper discipleship and deeper impact.

In week 3 of 40 Days in the Word, Pastor Matt teaches that God has given us His Word as a light for our lives and His Holy Spirit to help us truly understand and apply it. He explains how the Spirit illuminates truth, gives direction, provides protection, and reminds us of God’s constant presence as we engage with Scripture. Ultimately, the message challenges us to approach the Bible as a daily encounter with God—ready to listen, depend on Him, and obey what He reveals.
