I invited my dear friend Marissa to join me for the Season Finale of the Podgecast. Art and creativity are such an important part of our wellness and a way for us to see goodness and beauty in the world. Marissa identifies as a "re-emerging artist" and I highly recommend checking out her creations. About Marissa: Marissa's work is a visual invitation to rest the eyes and the mind. The intention behind her work is to inspire you to embrace art, texture and colour in your home and life.She finds flow in detailed, repeated mark-making using watercolour, gouache, ink and natural dyes to create paintings. Marissa includes found/repurposed materials to create playful, intricate collage and textile art pieces.Her work has been shown at the Golden Arts Council Gallery, BC Festival of the Arts, Textile Arts Center Gallery in Brooklyn and currently in the online gallery Artterra.
