Be Gentle and More Forgiving to Yourself.
This week Amara Gordon joins us for a delightful discussion on identity. We talk about how we shouldn't break our identity into labels and categories, what a model minority is, and why we need to be gentle and more forgiving to ourselves. Hope you enjoy it!    | Connect with Us |   Amara's Instagram: @amxra_g  Jasmin's Instagram: @jasminn.m  Podcast Instagram: @thepodforpocs   Podcast TikTok: @thepodforpocs

Where Do I Belong?
Finding where you belong can be a long and hard process. This week we talk to Kennan Okada about his experience as a multicultural person. I asked the question "What does “identity” mean to you?" and "Has being multiracial had an impact on your college experience?" Listen to the episode to hear what he had to say, hope you enjoy!!

We're not from two Worlds.
Have you ever felt that you're living in two worlds? As BIPOC’s, sometimes it feels like we’re somewhere in between the culture of our Motherland and American culture. We're not completely accepted or rejected by either but we’re here to say we’re not part of two worlds!  This week I sat down with Sara Martinez, a William & Mary student, to talk about her experience as a first-generation student at a primarily white institution (or PWI). I asked the question “Do you ever feel like your part of two worlds?” leading to a discussion on Latinx identity, code-switching, and imposter syndrome.
