Round and round the cauldron go; where it stops, no one knows! Welcome to the witchiest episode we've had thus far of my Big Fat Fabulous Life! Whitney and her squad of incredibly unrelated individuals are headed to SALEM, MASSACHUSETTS to set spells, meet ghosts, and hopefully catch a HAINT!

This week, we’re finally getting the answers to a lot of questions we’ve been asking for quite some time, the most important of which is: did Whitney’s artificial insemination take? Whit is dead set on making one of two decisions: starting a family and staying in Greensboro versus moving somewhere totally different and starting fresh. But will Whitney get discouraged if this first attempt at pregnancy doesn’t go as planned? Will she fold under pressure if moving away seems too complicated? And where will she work if she moves to, say, London? All these questions and more are posed and answered on today’s episode!

This episode is jam-packed - we should have called it "a birthday and a funeral" because it incorporated both Glenn's 79th birthday and Henchi's memorial service. Though Henchi's departure was tragic for all fans of the show, his memorial service was an affair to remember - it was rife with gifts, memories and of course, lots of plastic. As for Whitney, we're still wondering if she actually inseminated herself. In this episode, she's either got a horrible and very conveniently-timed bout of food poisoning, or she might be experiencing some early effects of morning sickness. Well, the votes are in and, thanks to Isaiah and Jess, Whitney has chosen her League Baby sperm donor! In “Twinkle, Twinkle, Fertile Star,” Whitney puts Ashley’s womb preparation skills to the test as she undergoes a full womb energy cleanse - complete with salty food from an unnamed popular fast food restaurant (McDonald’s) and a plastic turtle named Cappy (after Cappy, of course) with his own enclosure! But will the egg wash, chanting, and turtles be enough to get Whitney and Jess pregnant? Or will the fertility spells only work on one (or neither) of them?

We're finally here on season 13 of MBFFL! We can't believe it. And to add to the fun, TLC has given your girls SCREENERS so we can watch the episodes in advance, create our episodes, and get you the recaps the day after the episodes drop on cable television! In the premier episode of MBFFL, Whitney once again fakes us out in a classic Robert Frost conundrum - two roads are diverged in Greensboro and Whit has a choice to make: will she say in Greensboro and try to start a family on her own via artificial insemination, or will she move somewhere totally different and start fresh? Season 13 holds all the answers and we can't wait to explore them together!

Y'all - we're coming to the (temporary) end of our coverage of Season 2 of MBFFL - because we're going to pick up next week on Season 13, which drops TODAY, JULY 1! Throughout this season, we're changing our podcast drops to MONDAYS instead of TUESDAYS, so you'll be able to recap the previous week's episode the day before you watch the NEW episode!   But while we're still on Season 2... This is a landmark episode. And that's because it's the episode where we first meet Lennie. Is it just us, or did Lennie come on the scene way sooner than you all thought too? On today’s episode of the plot thickens, we are recapping a landmark moment in Whitney‘s life… She’s finally “leaving the nest!” And no, you didn’t read that wrong and your eyes do not deceive you! Whitney‘s plan to move out with her current “best friend“ Buddy is finally coming to fruition! But as Tal points out, there’s going to be a lot of temptation in that new house (a la shirtless Buddy) - will Whit be able to withstand it? Or will she buckle under the temptation of a burly man in his skivvies? Will Babs and Glenn be able to go on without Whitney in the house (and ten whole minutes away) or will they just miss her too much?

It's finally the night of the big Greensboro Grasshoppers baseball game! and boy, did the weather turn out poorly for Whitney and her BGDC's debut - but don't worry - the girls should be fine regardless of how the dance number goes (though Whitney is entirely convinced that they'll jettison themselves off the stadium if the dance doesn’t go as planned). The manager of baseball operations assures Whit that the Grasshoppers' stadium has the best drainage in town, but Whit, having never danced on grass before, let alone WET GRASS, isn't convinced. Will the dance number end in victory or defeat? Will "a big girl go down," or will the BGDC show that Whitney (and only Whitney, with no help from Todd) can do anything she sets her mind to? Only tonight's episode will tell.

This week, Whit is saying "CARBONARA" (huh???) to pasta, bread and other white carbs, even though her dietician specifically advised against it! She's forging her own path and making her own choices and cutting out food groups left and right. Whit decides to put herself to the ultimate challenge - to go out for Italian food with her friends, Babs and Glenn and allow them to order all of her favorite foods so that she can "look the carbs in the face" and say "don't call me, I'll call you." But will Whit make it on no carbs once the cravings kick in? Will she find foods that make her feel energized or will she stick to her old favorites that make her feel sluggish? Only time (and Julie Duffy Dillon) will tell!
