Instagram recently deactivated hundreds of sex-positive creators' accounts, including my own personal (@Lorraejo). The impact is far-reaching, extending beyond creators to society as a whole, diminishing access to sex-positive content, community, activism, and empowerment for all, and limiting our personal expression of our identities. This censorship and suppression also impacts creators (and their teams) livelihoods, and has wider implications for marginalized groups, limiting their ability to organize, advocate, and build communities. It's disheartening to see the spaces for expression, acceptance, and support being taken away from everyone, as the digital landscape becomes more and more censored.My personal IG has been the primary place where I connect with you all — a loss greatly hampers my ability to create solo episodes, as it’s the main place where I share them with you. I’m hopeful for its reinstatement, and I am exploring other channels to continue sharing, but in the meantime, am taking a short break from solo episodes while this all gets sorted out.
