Harun Idris: May 13 Instigator or Scapegoat?
Visvamba and Yodhin sit down with Ashaari, Harun Idris' grandson to help shed some light and share alternative point of views on the life and career of Harun Idris himself.  Harun Idris was a well respected politician and leader within UMNO and is famously known as the one who "instigated" the May 13 riots, which left more than 180 people dead.  Ashaari shares many detailed accounts, which includes his various interviews with leaders, such as Tun Dr. Mahathir, Musa Hitam that actually paint a very different image than what the general public understand about Harun Idris. He shares accounts of the Opposition leader at the time of the riots, Chee Koon stating that he was not responsible and even other anecdotes from people claiming that he was a very welcoming and fair man. Ashaari's mother is even of Chinese descent. Join the three of us and get a clearer and more rounded picture of Harun Idris.
