🚨  Maya is a final year student at Macquarie University, studying a double degree of Law and Applied Finance. At uni, Maya was heavily involved in the MQU Women Entering Business society, acting as both President and Chairperson. Having gained experience in several private practice law firms as a Paralegal, she is now an incoming Investment Banking Analyst at Bank of America.

🔒Aisha is the founder of Storks Shopping, a peer to peer platform that connects customers wanting goods that don’t ship internationally, with locals who can order and forward it to them. Vis is the co-founder of Greenfluence, a new online learning community related to sustainability, responsible investing and climate change. Having studied Applied Finance and Actuarial Studies at Macquarie University, he is currently a Consultant at KPMG. He is also a CFA ESG candidate.

🔒 Hemanshi is currently a Social Impact Research Associate at Foresight Analytics, where she deals with ESG and social impact matters in an investment analytics company. She is passionate about policy and law reform, having held positions at Justice Action, Domestic Violence NSW and Missing Perspectives. She is currently a third year student studying a Bachelor of Arts (Politics and International Relations) at USYD.

🔒 With season 2 of The Pathways & Padlocks Conversation concluding last week, I’ve put together some of my favourite moments from the season. Looking back, I’m proud of the way the project paints authentic and realistic pictures of how ambitious students navigate the uncertainties of their personal & professional pursuits. Sometimes it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and insecure about these types of stories. Rather than glorifying these stories, I wanted to ground them in a strong sense of reality, humility and truth.   🔒 In doing so, I hope in some small way we were able to provide listeners with a source of confidence and inspiration, particularly in these difficult times. 🔒Stay tuned for Season 3...

🔒 Michael is an aspiring sports professional. To date, he has worked with the Wests Tigers, Cricket NSW and CSM Sport & Entertainment. Having recently graduated from a Commerce degree, he is currently studying a Master of Business Law at USYD. He is also the creator of ‘The Debutant Report,’ a sports & entertainment blog and podcast.

🔒 Brandon is a competitive judo athlete and a martial arts instructor in Evolution Jujutsu. He is currently documenting his experiences in martial arts in a book he is writing. He is currently a Technology Risk Cadet at EY and studies Commerce at the University of Sydney.

Sachin is the co-host of ‘The Sachin and Adam Show,’ a podcast that probes the minds of entrepreneurs, philosophers and activists. Alongside his co-host Adam, Sachin has conducted over 50 interviews with guests including Tim Fung (founder of Airtasker), Mark Hotlzman (former manager of Ronald Reagan’s presidential campaign) and Evan Wong (founder of Checkbox.) Sachin and his brother Aaryan have also delivered a TEDx speech together. Sachin has a strong interest in social impact and entrepreneurship and is currently a graduate analyst at Deloitte.

Doris is in the final year of a Bachelor of Education (majoring in secondary education mathematics) and Bachelor of Science degree. Her passion for teaching led her to teach mathematics in schools across Sydney including Xavier College, Epping Boys High Schools and Asquith Boys High School. Doris also spent time teaching mathematics in Sweden at the Umeå University.
