February’s book of the month for the Papercut Book Club was a collection of essays called Trick Mirror: reflections on self-delusion by Jia Tolentino. In this episode, Fatma sits down with book club member Anup Sudevan to talk all about self-delusion in modern society in various iterations: social media, religion, scammers, weddings, and more. In our episode, host Fatma Makki spoke with Sara Al Lamki, founder of Seen Ceramics, about the modern home, and the theme of home in literature.
