Somebody get some crutches for my boy Cal Kestis over here, he's stumbling and bumbling his way around all weird like. Seriously, he's going to break a bone if he keeps tipping over like this. That's right, we're talking about Respawn's Jedi: Fallen Order. And yes, Reilly's mic is quiet, we're working on it. CCC Cartoons, coming to a church basement half-assed kids' play area with a tube tv on a wheeled cart near you! I will say, at least the animation was ok to passable, unlike the bizarre flash cartoon of Leif Erickson I got from the library once as a kid. I will say though, the part of that cartoon that is the most annoying to me is the crappy and nearly nonexistent lip sync on that. I guess I have high standards for the way animated characters are animated speaking. Speaking of high standards, we're talking about a cold war thriller Bridge of Spies. If you're ever beset by a pugilistic and diminutive chicken-like creature with a penchant for late 90's space operas, know that at least we've combined those thoughts together into one podcast episode banter session. This podcast is a return to topic discussion, namely a Saltcast about the genre of Dark Fantasy and how it is seldom done well. (00:00) Intro/Banter (17:25) Saltcast: Dark Fantasy discussion

Thomas Cruise is Thomas Cruising for a Bruising as he relives the same day over and over and over again trying to fight them aliens. Those dirty aliens keep changing the time to rig the game in their favor. We can't stand for it. And neither could Thomas Cruise in "Edge of Tomorrow." We happened to unintentionally record this the day before Groundhog Day, so make of that what you will. Also, apologies for the occasionall microphone crackle, something was up from one of our cables. Man, growing up in the 1950's is tough. Especially when your music loving oil business Dad is kind of hard on you sometimes. And- oh hey, you know the sun? Yeah there's the sun. and Saturn. Ooh is that primordial Earth? How about some frickin' DINOSAURS? Huh? Yeah? Look at the dinosaur. Wow. Yeah so anyway this guy's a successful architect now and... Ah heck just watch "Tree of Life" by Terrance Malick yourself and listen to our review. (00:00) Intro/Banter (19:39) Philmosophical - Tree of Life (33:25) Thoughts, themes, Transcendental Analysis

Look, I'm going to level with you guys, this one runs a little long so I'm going to write a shorter description this time, you're welcome. Nathan's brother, who is just Isaac, joins the podcast to talk about the Phoenix Wright games. Apologies for the slightly goofy audio. Bit of a Christmas special for you guys, we're comparing and contrasting the stories of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" in its various (mostly the Muppets) adaptations, and "It's A Wonderful Life." So, enjoy the Christmas season with your families, push a muppet off a window ledge, crash your car into a tree and come back from a supernatural experience being glad that it happened, and maybe give another shovel full of that nice, clean coal to your bookkeepers this year. Merry Christmas! (00:00) Intro/Banter (5:30) The part where we figure out Nathan's microphone isn't turned on (17:00) Philmosophical

My desire to make thing stems from what 5-year-old me considered to be the peak of comedy: flash cartoons lampooning the dictator of Iraq and a certain famous terrorist leader in the early 2000's.Those and my older brothers making goofy videos caused me to want to make my own goofy stuff. I tried making stick figure cartoons in Microsoft Paint, stop motion cartoons with legos, and finally sketch videos in college, to now podcasts. Needless to say, content creation has been on my mind basically for the life cycle of the modern internet, and we're talking about it today on the podcast. Yeah, I put friggin Scared Kirby on the thumbnail. Sure it's not a multiplayer game, who asked you, nerd? Narc? Whatcha going to do? Call the niche podcast thumbnail police? File a report of a violation of gamer code 420 that I didn't do my gamer homework and published a non-related picture on my own dang podcast thumbnail? Deal with it, I think Scared Kirby looks funny. Different sort of podcast this week, we're discussing multiplayer games and why many iterations these days don't quite suit our fancy (Mainly Reilly) (0:00) Banter, Grommit's clay (17:30) Saltcast Warning, Topic
