In this episode of "Conversations from Studio B," WOUB's Emily Votaw talks with Athens Art Guild President Marjorie Lee about the organization's first permanent headquarters, located in the historic Mansfield House at 667 E. State St. in Athens. The organization will celebrate the new space with a grand opening Sunday, August 30, 2026. Lee discusses how the guild found its new home, the history of the Mansfield House and what having a permanent space makes possible for the organization. She also talks about the guild's efforts to make arts programming accessible through affordable art classes, its school art supply grant program and plans for future events at the property, including night markets and the return of the Krampus Parade.
