Mitch gives a recap of there 2021 fall.  It was filled with camping and hunting.  Along with getting sick over Thanksgiving, to finding out a surprise is coming April of 2022.  You will have to listen in to find out what is coming this spring!!!

This week on The Hunting Journal, Mitch gets to talke with long friend form high school, Cole Lodge.  The two them share few hunting stories and also talk about what Cole is up to now days. Cole has large back ground in many areas of hunting.  Somethng that near and dear to him is hunting with hounds.  He gives over veiw on how hound hunting works and enjoyment that comes from hunting with hounds We also take dive into deer hunting and few tips and tricks he as learn over the years. 

Mitch takes look why the details matter in life. It's importain in every elment in life.  God shows us the details matter to him though Jesus life. 

Kelsey and Mitch talk about their goals for deer season.  Is the pressure on for them?!?  Do they have to live up to their goals since they shared them out loud??  They also talk about their best tactics and tips for the season.  There is a tip to make Mitch happy in this episode..... Happy Deer Season Eve!!! 

Kelsey and Mitch reflect on their summer. From summer camp, to school starting, and everything in between. They also take a snap shot of the fall and early winter and what they are looking forward to.  The Outdoor Family is rolling out a mini series called "The Hunting Journal".  It's coming out on Thursdays and the first episode will start tomorrow (September 30).

Mitch talks over last weekend actives and up coming camping this weekend.  Looking at camping and hiking in Clark State forest in southern Indiana.  Mitch also gives over view of his upcoming deer season.  Along with look at his gear list. Fall brings so many great actives.

We are back at it now!  We catch up with Isaac about his summer.  Talk about what has been keep us from doing podcast all summer.  We take few to look at what is ahead for the Outdoor Family podcast this fall and winter.  We also put Isaac on the hot set with some questions.  See how he turned out?

Ike and Mitch open talking about their favorite media they've consumed in the last two weeks.  Ike leads us through the question "What if?".  We all deal with this question, from small events like where to eat to large events like where to work?  The guys share how to handle the "What if" questions in our lives.

Mitch and Isaac open talking about gear they would like to get this year and gear that's on the "wish list".  This week Ike addresses an issue that has some sweating just thinking about it....asking someone to come to church.  He recently finished a book on this topic called "15 to 5" by Tom Mercer.  Ike takes us through the steps this book has laid out while he and Mitch have some great discussion.

Mitch and Kelsey talk a little about what they have been up to.  They also take dive into why they want to make healthy choices in life.  Youth doesn't last forever so they want to be able to keep up with little ones and reach their long term goals.
