Sorry for the slight delay in kicking off this month's finale to The E•MO•TION Minute 2019; Chris moved into a new place and is meticulously setting up his sound system to get the exact correct amount of CRJ Vibes because, for this episode, we had to listen to "Tug of War," the pretty awful title track off of her debut album. What happens when an artist who hasn't yet found her sound drifts out of her vocal range in the chorus that follows lyrics that fail in their attempt to be clever? It's a bad song, folks, but it's a song that hints at the pop music Charizard she would eventually evolve into. It's not pop, it's not lattegaze, so who is this song even for?
