Used to be great.
Season 1 listener This show used to be amazing. I’d say after season 15 it just lost its touch. Older seasons used to give you chills and the WOW factor. But now most stories drag on and you’re left wondering “how is this a horror podcast?” Long drawn out boring stories. Also they now always have to put a very biased political stance in quite a few shows.

I’m a season 1 listener and I enjoyed the horror from Demons and ghouls with a slice of life horror, now it just feels bland. No more biblical or universal horror anymore it’s all seems to be going in a one track direction of point of view. No more surprise endings or twists that will shock you, you can see the ending a mile away. It’s alll a point of view and no feeling through all the characters all to be rounded up with just sound and noises of actions.

Exquisite
The professionalism unto which this show is performed rivals some of the world’s best audio book readings.

My favorite by far
I listen to a lot of podcasts but this is the only one I’ve listened to every episode three times at least. Finally joined the Sanctuary today so I can support these talented actors and creators while getting new content for myself. Love this show!

I’ve been listening to this show over the past 6 years it’s gotten me through a two incredibly boring night shift jobs, the lockdown and that was only the FREE episodes! I’m not gonna lie not every episode is best I’ve ever heard, but there’s certainly a PLETHORA of great/ fantastic ones. Now the somber day has arrived where I’ve caught up to the current episodes, but just in time for easy access to all the previous premium episodes! Thank you again to all the voices actors and crew members. I’m Looking forward to see what I missed and for another couple years of sleepless nights!

Great Podcast
I am one who’s a lover of Horror Audio Drama podcasts. This has become one of my go tos.. Keep up the great work!

Some good stuff
So I am fairly desensitized to most horror and scary stories. With that in mind I am almost finished with season 2 and have enjoyed 90% of the stories. A couple even managed to give me a bit of a chill. Looking forward to continuing my binge of spooky delights.

Just Meh
Some of the stories are pretty decent. Most aren’t. They either have a nonsensical ending or none at all. I find myself just drifting off when listening to them with no desire to rewind and listen again. I have been listening for years, but the story quality just isn’t there anymore.

THIS IS #AMAZING
Since I was 11 I was obsessed with this. Everyday I listen to a new episode. I think it was more scary back some episodes but other then that IT IS AMAZING. I am always looking forward for this. You guys are so going to be the new wings of fire or Harry Potter! 🩷😁😄🫶🏻

Sad drop in quality
Where’s more stories like The Whistlers, 500 yards, or Murmur Man? I’d have to agree with some of the recent comments, the earlier seasons are definitely better. Please adjust as necessary. I’m a paying customer and don’t appreciate the lack of attention.

Amazing!
I’ve been looking for a podcast like this— forever!

Would love more scary!
Firstly, I literally LOVE this podcast and have since 2016, when I was a little sophomore in high school 🫶🏽 overall, I enjoy this podcast so much, it’s just that it’s gotten less and less scary and more psychological over the years. I miss the scary body horror, creature features, aliens, scary woods and all the other fun stuff, but after season 14-15 it’s just gone to more psychological and hunting at “insert horror” and it’s not as scary. Still great, I’d just love more horror like the earlier seasons because those seasons made me jump in the dark and be terrified while laying in bed. The new seasons are just eh that’s cool. With the trigger warnings, I think it’s safe to delve into the same horror y’all did in the earlier seasons. Also, all the people mad about “woke culture” they are just advocating for lgbt+ and POC, how is it woke for protecting marginalized communities? Sad that they lost followers just because of that

The Best Horror Podcast!!!
I’ve been listening faithfully since back in the day when there was a content warning before listening because it may have been too scary or triggering. The stories have simmered down just a little, they are still pretty much VERY creepy 😂 I have yet to stop listening and I know it has been about 10 years now lol It’s a part of my Sunday routine!

Definitely falling off on quality
I’ve literally listened to every episode. The last couple seasons have dramatically declined in story quality. This last episode, story 2 I believe, sounded like it was written by a 14 y/o on her iPad, without any continuity or grammar editing by Cummings.. I’ll keep listening, it is a great show.

It’s fine….
I loved this podcast, but the last couple seasons have been meh, at best. There’s no more suspense in the episodes, and the “horror” element is rarely there. Most of the episodes are just whiny characters that, you could care less what happens to them. The camp series was great, and don’t get me wrong if you’ve never heard this cast before find the feed the pig episodes. Listen to the older seasons they are magnificent. I still tune in every week, but I find my self putting it on more for background noise than anything.

#1 Listener
I joke that they probably have my picture somewhere in the NoSleep Headquarters because of the absolutely heinous amount of hours I have listened to this podcast!!! Favorite podcast of all time - collabs with Mike Flanagan and Co. are always incredible!

HOW. am i just a discovering this???!!!
O.M.G. i am in heaven. these stories are very entertaining and there appears to be an endless amount of content. i have been a podcast listener for several years now. started with dateline, 20/20, 48 hours. added in crime junkie and morbid. listen to all the news pods that are fairly brief. i’m crazy about radiolab, snap judgement, most npr similar shows. read my first stephen king novel at around 6 (thanks to careless older brother!) but i’m not happy with his latest… just trying to give you some context on what i like. because i’m loving these stories and the fact that it’s going to be a very long time before i’m going to need to “wait” for the “next installment “!

Im so upset I loved listening to your podcast but this is horrible..why such a drop in entertainment? I had to turn off every new episode after only maybe 10 mins! 3rd review?
Can’t remember how many times I’ve reviewed this but it looks like it’s been a while since it’s gotten one. So I’ll just share that I’m currently on my 5th play through of this podcast. Started with the first episode a couple yrs ago. Listened up the the (then) current episode & back down then up down up etc. This show has helped inspire me to write more. I’ve learned of so many Authors & VA’s who I now follow. Thankyou NSP🖤

Great then good
I’ve listened to every episode for years. As a whole it’s probably one of the best horror podcasts that you’ll be able to find but it’s been less hit and more miss over the last year or so. The episodes have become slower, less violence, less “horror”. Maybe the show matured more than I did and I’m no longer the targeted audience.

If u like scary- you’ll finally find the scare your looking for
All the shows and stories in this podcast are very well, written, thrilling and easy to follow the different voice actors at the show, are amazing and you will come to love them. I love this show and would recommend it to anyone.

Too political
This week's story equating "wellness" with mental illness was a bridge too far for me. It's perfectly normal for people to believe that diet and exercise can prevent illness or question the wisdom of elective surgeries - it doesn't indicate the presence of an evil parasitic brain worm. Is this pod sponsored by big medicine or montsanto or something?

Best horror fiction podcast around
I’ve been listening to this podcast for years by now. I started binging it until I caught up in season 5. The stories are well written and wonderfully told. David Cummings is a fantastic host. If you just like stories in general you’ll love it. Pen pal was one of my faves. Great job guys! All these actors are dedicated to their craft and just talented and fun to listen to. Love this podcast.

Subscription Content Lies
David said everyone would get access to the Halloween episode, and $5 and up subscribers would have access to the extra Halloween episode. I was looking forward to seeing that episode in my feed. They announced it had been released, and lo and behold: they hid the extra Halloween episode behind the $10 tier after they explicitly said they weren’t doing that. What other subscription rewards are they going to go back on? What gives?

Favorite horror podcast
I’ve been listening for almost two years now. Some episodes are way better than others. Cast is awesome, and some of the stories are amazing.

Unparalleled in the genre
When I first began listening to this show I relied too heavily on the comments of others and I let my biases paint an image of what I thought the show would be. When the show inevitably failed to live up to my imagined expectations I left a critical review - a review I now feel terrible for writing. I have since enjoyed countless hours of free entertainment, and have gotten to understand the actors and creators more as time has gone on. I have profound respect for David Cummings and the entire cast and production crew, and I want to apologize for being too harsh in my first review of this show. You guys are doing an outstanding job - clearly better than anything I could ever hope to do. As far as free entertainment goes you guys have given me more than I could ever dream of during my countless hours behind the wheel. I hope you continue to make amazing content, continue to stick to your guns and stand your ground against censorship, and continue to provide one of the best, polished, entertaining story collection podcasts I’ve ever heard. As long as this show is around I’ll be listening as a fan and supporter. Thank you! S20E3 “Late Arrival” was great. Why do you limit yourselves by only accepting stories written in the first person? “Late Arrival” was great because it was like listening to an old school radio play, and it reminded me of 13 Ghosts (et al). Please include more stories like this in future episodes.

Amazing
This is the ONLY podcast that I have listened to Every episode of. I’m not a horror fan, but this has kept my interest for over 7 years. It has the perfect combination of fantastic voice actors and amazing authors. along side the fact that the sound effects (99% of the time) don’t drown out the narration. Highly recommend

The First two seasons were top tier, then it went downhill from there
When I first listened to Nosleep it was my favorite podcast to listen to. The first two seasons were terrifying, unsettling, and downright disturbing. But when they decided to charge for their episodes, it started to go downhill pretty fast. While the quality of the sound effects and music improved, the tension and the scares aren’t really there anymore. Most of the stories are too cheesy and kinda boring. So, I took a hiatus from listening to Nosleep for about a year and decided to give this podcast another shot. However when I try to download or press play on any episode, there will be a pop up saying, “episode is temporarily unavailable at this time.” That is the final nail of the coffin saying I probably won’t listen to this podcast anymore which is a shame.

Beyond 5 Stars.
Need 10 stars for the quality of this production, stories, talent, and output. Consistently gets better.
MGP Terps
Down the drain like all the rest.
Nothing lasts, Switching to Patreon like levels and the other “tiers” just like all the other shows that have fell off. It’s no longer about the production, product or listener. Make as much $$$ as possible for as long as possible and change/charge accordingly. Where do we go now?(metaphorically)

Check out “Goat Valley Campgrounds.”
Don’t get me wrong, I like this pod. I am here for the voice actors. However, the seasons before they threw money at the pod were the best. Just read me stories to help me sleep. That said, I LOVE “Goat Valley Campgrounds”. They have ten chapters, one chapter per episode, alas. They did get Bonnie Quinn to write a new episode for the Stanley Hotel Live show. Aces that is! Seriously, this pod is why I follow Bonnie Quinn on Reddit for her “How to Survive Camping” and “How to Survive College” series. Check out Madame Raven’s narration of “HTSC” on Youtube, too!

Truly an institution of audio horror
I consider NoSleep the gold standard of audio horror. The production value, the variety and quantity of stories, the apparent blood, sweat, tears, and love put into it as a whole from so many talented people will keep me listening forever. Of course it’s not perfect, but its average is still so high that I’m willing to forgive anything that isn’t my cup of tea - and besides, I can appreciate that they really do strive to showcase different kinds and levels of horror that’s written and performed by folks of all backgrounds. You can certainly find something niche you’re interested in or something that’ll widen your tastes within their catalogue - I’ve heard stories that have made me laugh out loud, genuinely moved me with their storytelling, made my skin crawl so much I’ve had to pause them for a minute, made me jump and screech at being interrupted, and of course too many to count that I think about when I’m in the dark, alone, in bed, trying to sleep. NoSleep was the second podcast I ever listened to, and after nine years I’m still tuning in every week. Not only that, but I’ve converted my partner, parents, and several friends to dedicated listeners and season pass holders (it is so worth it to support their season pass program, I own all of them coming into this newest season and there are gems in every single one). If you love spooky, scary, creepy stories, you have to try NoSleep - you simply have got to. I hope you love it.

Meh.
I miss the old stories. Some of these are so friggin’ boring now. I love a slow burn but man some of these are sooooo slow and just not good. I find myself skipping forward through most of the stories now.

NoSleep comeback?
I’ve been listening to NoSleep for ten years. I felt as if the quality has greatly declined the last few years with the most boring stories being put out every week. I stopped listening for a while and decided to tune in today. The pigfoot story reminded me of the good ol NoSleep days. Hope they keep it up, that was a great episode.

Longtime Fan
I have been listening to the NoSleep Podcast since 2016 and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have loved listening to David and the crew evolve and you can tell that everyone on the crew is passionate about what they do. I look forward to season 20 and beyond and who knows, maybe one I will be part of the cast myself. Keep doing what you’re doing everyone!

Love the cast
While I love the cast and performances are AMAZING, the stories are about 75/25 lately and if I hear another story or poem by Poe I’m going to take my leather bound hardcover compilation of his stories and eat it. Please, no more Poe for a few seasons.

So good!
Oh my goodness! “It’s Later than You Think” was SO good!! I’ve been listening to this podcast for a few years and I can’t get enough. David Cummings and the whole team are genuinely dedicated and it shows.
